I've seen them at 7200 feet. Thought it was a pretty unique frog but now I see them often.

Updated with story. Daily updates!! 15yr old 6b archery bull
GJMauro12 replied to Adicted's topic in Elk Hunting
Awesome! Maybe over his salt and on video? Imagine he's pretty bloody at the moment though. Either way- opening day archery bull for a 15 year is impressive. -
Some good looking bucks but the suspense is killing me. I'm still on my antelope hunt right now and have been glued to the abrelole section all year. Can't wait to hear the rest of your story and to see which one you ended up taking home.

There's been a couple posts about chiggers* and noseeums this year I believe. I have no experience with either though. Never heard of noseeums before it came up on coueswhitetail this year and then I seen noseeums spray at Walmart.

Beautiful buck! Any idea what you expect him to tape out at? I've been seeing a buck very similar to this one but I'm still holding out for a different one.

I had a pretty nasty dark ring around my tub when I got done with mine. I'll use the plastic tote idea next time as someone mentioned above.

I believe I read on the badlands website- they ask that you wash a pack before sending it in for repairs. It said to hose it down to try and remove any dirt or Debris off or out of the pack and then soak it in the tub with laundry softener. No soap. I tried it and I thought it worked well.

Found the side view on pronghorn guide services facebook!

Has the side view been posted anywhere yet?

Been waiting for this point to be brought up. Not everyone is a "hunt junkie" or what ever you want to call it. If the person has that kind of cash to dump on a govenors/ auction tag then they probably don't have the time to spend a year hunting but they do have the funds for someone to find them a beast and they will enjoy that one or two days they showed up to shoot and actually take a break from work just as much as someone that takes 2 weeks- 3 months off a year to chase animals. Just my point of view.

Only 17 days till rifle antelope but who's counting.

What side of town are you on?
-
Probably stolen and didn't realize what he had maybe?
-
Those droopy fronts on the one bull is kind of neat.

Find a female for mine to breed! He's akc with papers!

The zoom isn't as good as google earth and I don't think the picture quality is quite as good either. And as mentioned above- check the wildlife waters under the layers screen

Wow! That's one lucky boy! Congratulations and good luck on the hunt!

I don't know anything about unit 10 but if you don't mind me asking, I was curious if you passed the tag to him or did he get that lucky?
-
Well, there is 31 days till opening day and I haven't been able to focus on really anything but antelope. It has been extremely hard not to look up youtube antelope hunts, field judging articles, podcasts or going over the video of the different bucks I've filmed so far this summer. I've been up pretty much every weekend since the beginning of June trying to look at as many bucks as possible. Here's another picture of a buck I thougnt was pretty cool looking.

I Looked at the habimap again and it actually has a picture of the tank that I didn't see before. The picture is a square concrete tank that looks extremely old and probably not working anymore. I'll have to hike in to check on it next time I get a chance.
-
Has anyone found a catchment on the habimap that they couldn't locate when they went to find it? I was curious how accurate the habi map is because I seen a carchment on the map in a deer unit I hunt and plan to hike in to find it but wonder if it's actually there.
