think they are trying to prove a point and make everyone get a portal. Waiting for the results to come out on the phone is like still writing a check for the application. Agreed. I would set them up but I could care less if they draw or not. But I am still curious.

+1 to the podcasts getting old. I lost interest about 4-5 months ago. I might check back before elk season to see what the different opinions are across the state regarding weather conditions and growth but that's about it. I've been hung up on politics lately, listening to the patriot on XM radio as well as NPR, POTUS, progressive and C-span but I see a burn out coming on that garbage and may be looking for music again soon.

I was able to get up north for Memorial Weekend to look at some goats before my hunt this year. Just wante to know what you guys think of this buck since I have such a hard time judging them. He was with 8 other very small bucks which makes me think he just looks big compared to them. I can post more pictures of him if these angles aren't good enough. To me it seems he has pretty good cutters and mass but the mass seems to disappear above his cutters. Curious to know what you guys with more experience think. Thanks in advance.

Bret with game trail Taxidermey finished up my antelope and I thought I would update my old post. I kept him in the freezer for a while if you're thinking that it took too long. Really happy with how he turned out and I think he looks awesome In my living room.

We have nearly 100 employees with an average hourly rate of $9.30 before 2017 so it definitely hit us. I usually have a dunkin doughnuts iced coffee every morning for $2.61. This year it is $3.05 so I started brewing my own coffee again. The first of the year I ordered a coffee at the drive through and heard a different price than normal before I pulled up to the window. I thought they had screwed up my order until they handed me a black iced coffee. I asked what happened to $2.61 and the kid smiled and said minimum wage increase.

It seems like this has been brought up before but I am struggling to find it. If it has and someone can find the link could you possibly post it. Mainly need to know if there is a software program I need to download my waypoints. Here's my dilemma! On 12/31 I lost my garmin rino 530hcx on my rifle hunt. I went back on 1/7 and Was able to find it but the screen is full of water. I have it in a bag of rice now to hopefully salvage my waypoints at least. I have never backed up my waypoints and I really don't want to lose over 8 years of marks. I ordered the cord to hook it to the computer which should be here today and I was trying to figure out if there's still a software program I need to get to save everything to my computer. Also curious if anyone thinks the waypoints could be salvaged if it does not turn back on. I haven't tried to turn it on since I found it just incase I only get one shot when the cord arrives. How long does your download take when you back it up. I'm guessing If it does turn on it might not stay on for long. One more thing if anyone knows- Can waypoints from a 530hcx be uploaded to the new touch screen models if I get them saved to the computer first?

Yes the waypoints was what I wanted the most but I'm glad I still don't have to go to the touch screen rino. I'll just have to glue some buttons on there. I definitely need to tether up a few things that I'm good at losing but I am getting good at going back and finding things. i went back for a video camera last spring that got left during the late elk hunt once the roads opened up. Camera turned on after a month in rice and then crashed but the 20+ SD cards in the bag were still good. I'll usually mark anywhere I sit, take a break and every kill site just incase I forget something.

Update- the cord came in today so I pulled my gps out of the rice and all the visible water in the screen from before was gone. I put in a fresh battery and it turned on and picked up signal. Plus, I was also able to upload all my waypoints. Pretty good day! One problem I had was it wouldn't let me update it but I'll have to keep playing with that.

Thought this was an ugly but cool looking buck so I figured I would share. Had over 20 does with him on 1/7.

I downloaded the base camp and it looks like it can be really handy to look at all my waypoints plotted onto one map. Just need the cord to come in now. Did you purchase any of the maps or would I be able to put the map chip from my gps into my computer and run it with base camp?

Good to know the waypoints can be transferred to different models.

Thanks! I had the base camp page pulled up on my phone but everything was blank. Pulled it up on my computer and it looks like a free download so that's cool.

That's not a serious post is it? If you've got a dang deer tag you shold be hunting! Unfortunately it is. I've already been in the mountains too long this year for 7 other hunts. I'll be hunting the 25th through 31st for sure with a couple day trips before that.

Have you ever had a misfire with factory ammo? I believe this is the first time I've seen it happen and was curious if anyone else has had it happen to them. It was the last morning of the hunt and somewhat cost us an opportunity on a spike. Luckily we were able to make it happen later that afternoon on a small 5x5 instead. Barnes TTSX BT 165 grain
