Never thought about locking my cards but I learned about 5 years ago to always use a blank SD card. I was stupid and stuck an SD card in that had pictures of some kill photos from successful hunts. Of course it was stolen in 6 days. That's what I get for hanging it on water. Pretty much gave up on trail cameras after that but I did hang one up again this year.

I like using my capital one card for draws. I just got this pop up notification on my phone allowing me to decide if the double deer charge is legit. I get a text notification when they hit my account also. Received the text at 7:11 am on Friday.

Mountain Lion Hunting – Night Hunting Rules Update
GJMauro12 replied to Healy Arms's topic in Wildlife Callers Blog
I brought up the day long issue when the regs came out this year and never got a response. It looks like it has already been taken away as I don't see anything stating daylong in the current regs. I haven't read the proposed guidelines yet but I wonder how much the senator from Tucson (Steve Farley) had to do with this after his meeting with G$F this year about ending all mountain lion and bobcat hunting. -
This topic is probably my favorite thing to read each year. Seems like the same general complaint shows up every summer. I'm still a little bitter from my brother not tagging out on the Raymond hunt. Lol

I've seen these posts before. I don't think it's something to worry about.

I just ran out of space on my Dropbox and had to upgrade to the plus version. You get 1 TB for $150 a year. It isn't free but it's cheaper than Photobucket if you're looking to change.

Whats the longest youve left an Elk in the field

I hit a bull last year with 2 out of 3 arrows just before dark. I was 2 miles from the road and by myself. I was confident I made a good shot on the first two hits and threw up a prayer as I watched it walk away on the third arrow. Then i watched that bull for almost another hour until it got dark and he never went down. I questioned my shot but had a lot of good blood at the beginning of the blood trail where I sat waiting for him to tip over. I decided to hike back to camp instead of accidentally pushing him. The plan was to have some dinner with grandpa who was waiting at camp and head back in the dark to break down my bull. Grandpa couldn't make the hike and was worried about me going back in alone. I let him talk me into waiting for first light and it ended up raining all night and the next morning. I didn't find the bull until almost 10 when my help finally showed up. We had him back to camp before 1 but ended up cutting away a lot of green meat. Never got sick eating the rest of it though. I won't wait until morning on anything anymore unless I know it's a bad shot. First shot was the arrow and the one below it was the exit from the second arrow. Wished he would of tipped over sooner -

I usually pull the seat off and keep that in the garage. Then I put a cover on and lay a piece of plywood over it.

I sent you three numbers yesterday!

I actually tip toed onto the kuiu band wagon last year and bought one set to wear on my elk hunt. It tears just as easy as Walmart camo on a barbed wire fence. So the only difference I could see was Walmart camo is cheaper to replace! Lol

I've watched their commercials/ infomercials/ shows, what ever you want to call them a few times and I'm not a believer. No first hand experience though

2015 Mexico archery javelina finally on the wall

It isn't you. This site likes to do that with pictures for some reason.Wow, I even edited my pics, turning them upside down and reposted them, website still has them upsidedown. SMH........If you're on an iPhone then you could try editing them to just slightly off Center and it works for me. Go to the photo in your Album, hit the 3 lines to edit, go to the crop square and you can either do quarter turns or grab the slider and move it just 1* off Center. Can't really even tell when it's posted. Nice javi -
I'm in the middle of planning a wedding with my fiancé right now as well. I'm more on the elope and buy a truck fence but I know that isn't going to fly. It is crazy how much a venue gets for a wedding so we are most likely doing a back yard wedding in cave creek at an uncles house. You may want to look into Ryan with Ingram Entertainment for a DJ. I've been to a couple of his weddings and he does a good job. Kim Thomas Cakes for cake. I don't know as much about her but she will be doing our cake. My fiancé has known her for years is how we found her. I don't have contact info for them with me right now but if you have trouble finding them let me know and I can get it for you if you're interested.

I always knew coyotes didn't have a problem with getting over a block walk in a residential area but I've never actually seen it happen. Pretty amazing how little effort it took him to jump right to the top. He just sat there as I drove by like he was looking to see which yard would pay off with an easy meal at 8 am.

Finally an answer. I was kind of hoping I was reading it wrong. I haven't really tried night hunting much but if I knew it was going Away I would have given it a shot a little more. Curious to know if this has anything to know if this had anything to do with the Tucson senator, Steve Farley (I believe that's his first name) and his ban on mountain lion hunting. Was this in the proposed regs?

Anyone notice there isn't a daylong lion season besides me?
-
It's just moved back because of the way the calendar falls this year I believe. Same as the elk hunts.

Daylong lion hunting taken away?

This one was 27th and union hills by ampm going into the trailer park and seemed pretty carefree. I know there's lots of rabbits in that park and little dogs.

Went up last Sunday to try and find some sheds. I've never been an avid shed hunter but I try to make it up for a couple day trips every spring. I've never been very successful but I was expecting to find more this trip for the miles I put in, in areas where the roads are still closed. I ended up walking 13.5 miles according to my iPhone. Not sure I trust iPhones though but I was able to find my first match. I was just about to start heading back when I found the first side so I decided to stick around and try to find the other side. I circled around for quite awhile hoping to find the other side with no luck. I decided to go back to where the first one was and there was the other side in the bushes about 40 yards from the first. According to my iPhone I did a mile and a half from the time I found the first one and it was laying within 40 yards the whole time. Here's a picture.
