With out a tag I'll be dreaming of letting the air out of a 400" bull every night. Dreams have already started this season so I'm gonna kill a lot of monsters this year.

I use the apple iphone SD card adapter and it work great. It will allow you to save the pictures to the phone and delete them from the SD card. Do you have to save the entire card to your phone to before viewing them?

I remember seeing shacks picture in the office

Is that on an iPhone? I've bought 2 different adapters now. One would save all my photos to the phone the other wouldn't work at all. I looked at the one the Apple Store sells but they couldn't give me a straight answer if I could view before saving so I didn't buy it.

I thought there was a place like this in casa grande and another one west of flag around i40 some where but I could be wrong. When I was 17 I hunted the the big horn canyon ranch in California and I believe it was 1000 acres. It seemed very small to me then and I think I walked about the whole thing in less than half a day. Looking back I wouldn't do it again. But, I think it would be great for kids though to go shoot a hog before they are 10 and allowed to hunt big game in arizona. I don't have any kids yet but it's definitely something I would do with them before they can start hunting arizona big game. I was just talking to my cousin last week about taking his 7 year old daughter to California to shoot a hog.

I received a reminder email from Game and Fish on 8/25/17 that the public comment deadline is coming up for two federal documents. I was going through the 43 page Wolf Recovery Document when I got to page 39. Are they really planning on spending $262,575,000.00 MILLION DOLLARS to save a hybrid wolf? What a waste of money! I am not certain the link will work. It wouldn't paste so I had to type it out. https://www.fws.gov/southwest/es/mexicanwolf/pdf/20170628_DftMexiWolfRevRecPlan_Public_Comment.pdf

5BS early archery bull tag could be yours
GJMauro12 replied to azpredator@work's topic in Elk Hunting
So if you get called up to take a surrendered tag and accept it do you lose your points even though it wasn't through the draw? -
I've lost or forgot way too many things to count. I've gotten better about not losing things though. I almost always search the ground now when I sit down for a break and I always mark where I sat down Incase i need to go back for something. One thing I remember losing somewhat intentionally was in 2010 on a early archery bull hunt in 5BN. I started out in the dark following bugles and followed all morning until they got to their beds. I could see the bull bedded and decided to take my shoes off. Started sneaking in on the bull and got busted by a cow. I didn't go back for the boots and continued following the herd. I ended up missing a couple miles later and hiked down to lake mary road and Waited for a ride. Went to flagstaff and bought a pair of boots at big 5. My feet hurt so bad that afternoon I sat water that evening and shot a rag horn.

I think i should make my own "special" jump suit and film all of my close encounters over the next few years while wearing it and then strike it rich. Shoot- maybe it takes 15-20 years of close encounters and I'll just make it my retirement package.

I think he posted on another site that he had them sold already.

Wow! Not for me

Some of you may have seen my post earlier this year that I had lost and found (a week later) my Gamin Rino on a late coues rifle hunt last year and I was looking for ways to save my waypoints thinking that my Garmin was ruined from being out in the storm for awhile. You guys directed me to download the Garmin Base Camp program and I was able to upload and save my waypoints. Original post http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/70954-downloading-waypoints-garmin-rino/?fromsearch=1 I usually spend a lot of time on my desktop looking at google earth and I have a pretty long list of Google Earth "My Places" saved of areas I would like to take a look at but I have never done it because they don't sync to my phone and I haven't taken the time to write down each spots coordinates and transfer them manually to my GPS. I was playing with Google Earth last night and figured out how to transfer "My Places" to my Garmin Base Camp but I haven't tried to load them to my GPS yet. My question is, has anyone done this? Did you have any issues transferring Google Earth spots from your base camp to your GPS and how accurate were they once you got into the field? I plan to upload them to my GPS tonight and get out this weekend to see if it works out and wanted to see if anyone else has tried it out already?

That's the video I used and it sounds like its been accurate for you so that's good to know.

Hard to tell for me. I've been starring at my trail cam pictures for 2 weeks trying to decide if it's a bull a bull I picked up a shed from this year. What kind of trail camera are you using

My buddy called me 7/11/2017 all jacked up and excited that he got charged for sheep. He was out of town and didn't even remember what unit he had applied for. He thought it was 24B but finally got home Monday 7/14 and said his first choice was 37B. He's been calling me almost every day to talk about sheep and says he's watched every YouTube sheep hunt he could find. He kept asking when results would come out. Well today was the day he found out what unit his 13 year old son willl be hunting bighorn sheep. 37B

. Better check your hunt number again unless I'm looking at the wrong year regs
-
I seen the screen shot of my buddy's portal and it's hunt number 6022 37b. And just to set the record straight, he is in no way disappointed that his son drew the tag. This post was meant to be more of a joke and I was just having a little fun with the "big horn blues" statement and the people that have been saying kids shouldn't be allowed to draw tags. I guess I don't have the best sense of humor. Although I do have sympathy for those with max points or close to max that still haven't drawn I appreciate the system that we have here and wouldn't want to see it changed. He always knew there was a chance it wasn't his tag but with the point difference there was a little shock and awe when he checked his portal. His boy is going to have a great year. He drew a late rifle bull, a deer tag, a sheep tag and is going to Canada for moose and whitetail in October. Thanks for the PMs from the guys that have hunted it before. Neither of us are sheep hunters and the "where to hunt" section on the game and fish page doesn't even mention bighorn.
-
He's not too upset. Just knows his son has a lot more years left than he does for a chance to draw a tag.
-
Mine just says tag #49 but no unit but there wasn't 49 tags for my 1st choice so I can't quit holding my breath.
-
Does Anyone know how many days after credit cards were hit for elk in march before results hit the portal? I thought it was pretty quick this year. I was thinking we might see results in the portal tomorrow but maybe that won't be the case with these late charges showing up.

I had the first rifle I purchased stolen in 2012 that I was pretty bummed about. I Doubt the police will ever call me up saying they found it but I can always hope to get lucky. I've been watching this thread hoping to see your rifle turn up!
