I have no idea on the round count, as none was provided to me. However, I used my Teslong borescope to examine the bore and saw no checkering or 'fire cracking' of any kind on the lands/grooves in the area where the lands start. Now everybody's experiences are different, but I have generally seen that some fire cracking in barrels occurs starting around 300 rounds. Therefore, I assume that less than a couple hundred rounds have been sent down the barrel. I did notice that there are some brass deposits in the groove that should come out with a good cleaning.

I have a Tikka T3 barreled action chambered in 6.5x47 Lapua. Ballistically, this caliber runs very close to the 6.5 CM and is a darling with the PRS crowd. This was a custom built rifle by Ross Rifles and the previous owner appears to have spared no expense with this build. I would prefer to sell the action/barrel together, but I am willing to separate. The action would come complete with action, bolt and action screws, but no bottom metal (see my other auction for KRG Bravo chassis that come with bottom metal & mag). The action has the following upgrades: 1) Fluted bolt (High Helix design) by Long Rifles, Inc. $75 2) Metal Bolt Shroud from Atlasworxs $42 3) Oversized Bolt Knob Handle from Atlasworxs $68 4) Tikka 20 MOA rail $57 5) Yo Dave spring kit $10 Asking $800 for the action. If purchasing just the action, I will need a day or two to remove the barrel from the action. The barrel is of unknown origin, but it is clearly an aftermarket, custom barrel. It is a 24" Bull Barrel contour with a 1.25" diameter shank tapering down to 0.915" muzzle diameter with a recessed target crown. Asking $100 additional for the barrel - if purchasing with the action. $150 for just the barrel. I also have 100 reloaded rounds of 6.5x47L that can be dismantled - providing bullets, primers and Lapua small primer brass. I also have Redding three die set with Neck & Full Body decapping dies and a competition seating die for sale as well. As always, CWT members get first shot at anything I sell before posting on different websites/boards. The first "I'll take it" in the thread trumps any PM's or text message. I like everything out in the open for all to see. No back door deals. For questions, you can post in the thread or send me a PM. I live in the N. Scottsdale area - cross streets: N. 101 Loop and 56th Street. Not interested in trades at this time, unless you have some Berger 85.5 gr. 22 cal bullets.

Price lowered to $750 for just the action with all the aftermarket goodies. Price for custom barreled action in 6.5x47L is $850. Barrel alone $150.

I have a near new KRG Bravo rifle chassis in FDE color for a Tikka T3 rifle. These stocks are modular and provide tremendous bang for the buck. The Bravo model has an aluminum insert for the Tikka action, an adjustable cheek riser for that perfect cheek-weld, as well as steel bottom metal that accepts short action AICS mags. A steel barrel lug for the Tikka action also comes standard. The barrel channel has the ability to acommodate barrel contours up to a full bull barrel. There are no dings, dents or scratches in the finish. KRG offers a lot of add-on accessories that can be seen by visiting their website. The price of an new Bravo Chassis for a Tikka is $389 plus shipping and taxes. My asking price is: $300 for the chassis. A 5 round AICS SA magazine with 2.905" internal clearance can be added to the deal for $50 As always, CWT members get first shot at anything I sell before posting on different websites/boards. Only Greg would try to sell a heater when it is 110* outside. LOL! Free bump for a good seller.

Are these ingots 100% pure lead, or do they have some tin/antimony mixed in?

I have three 1 pound bottles of esch for sale. When these powders came up for sale, I jumped on them because they can be hard to find. I bought them mostly for other members here on CWT. The price is exactly what I paid for them. I use both of these powders, so if they don't sell, I will just keep them. Since the price is what I have in them, I am not willing to lose money by driving to meet somewhere in the middle. I ask for your understanding on this matter. I live in the N. Scottsdale area - cross streets: N. 101 Loop and 56th Street. Retumbo is $62.50 per pound 4831 SC is $55.00 per pound. Up for sale is one of my favorite rigs. This custon rifle was built by well-known gunsmith Kirby Allen out of Montana. You can check out his website here: https://apsrifles.com . Custom components for this build along with current prices are as follows: Action: Lawton 7000 Repeater (Rem 700 La footprint) -blueprinted by Kirby (No longer available, but paid $875 nearly 13 years ago) Base: Lawton 20 MOA Rail (No longer available, but paid $100 nearly 13 years ago) Bolt: Fluted by LongRiflesInc. $50 Barrel: Lilja Match SS in #4 contour. Finished at 26" with 1 in 8" twist $380 Brake: Defensive Edge by Shawn Carlock (indexed) $80 Gunsmithing Work: Chamber in 6.5-06 AI, thread barrel tennon, thread muzzle, index brake & blueprint action $600 Stock: Manners Ultralight Carbon Hunter $780 (now known as EH Series) Trigger: Huber Concepts 2-Stage set at 1 lb. $300 Paint: Five Color Cerakote in Kryptek camo $250 Bottom metal: Std. Rem 700 BDL $75 If my math is right, I have nearly $3,500 of top quality parts & labor in this build (excluding tax & shipping costs). Also included with the sale of the rifle: a set of Redding 6.5-06 AI dies and approx. 150 of 2-x fired 6.5-06 AI Winchester brass fully fire-formed from 270 Win brass. Probably another $225 in value right there. (The Atlas bipod shown in the picture is not included in the sale.) Although not included in the sale, I do have approx. 300 count of the 6.5mm 130 gr. Accubond bullets and a couple pounds of H 4831 SC that could also be purchased to help you get started. And no - I am not interested in selling the bullets or powder separately at this time. The rifle weighs 8 lbs. as is. It shoots in the .5-.75 MOA range when you do your part. It loves both the 130 gr. Accubond (3,050 fps) - very mild load and the 160 gr Matrix bullets (3,075 fps) - very stout load. It has a documented 1,136 rounds down the barrel (including all load development and fouling rounds). This rifle has taken everything from coyotes to elk. The stock has some paint chips from normal field use, but no dents or dings in the carbon shell itself. If you do not want the 2-stage trigger, I would be happy to reduce the price by $200 and keep it. Price is: $2,250 As always, CWT members get first shot at anything I sell before posting on different websites/boards. The first "I'll take it" in the thread trumps any PM's or text message. I have 800 of the CCI #34 military primers that I would trade straight across for 1000 Federal 205 primers.

Typically, I will instruct potential buyers to text or use CWT's PM for questions, with the understanding that if someone else posts "I'll take it" in the thread before them- they lose out. That is simply the risk you run. Early on, I had a few members PM me with a commitment to buy - only to stall me for several days before backing out or trying to negotiate a different price. By that point, I had already posted a SPF in the thread which discouraged other potential buyers from stepping up. I like to have members on record where everyone can see what is going on and who is potentially dealing in bad faith or playing fast and loose with member's good will.

This is why I am an advocate for posting sales comments in the thread. There have been several times where I have responded quickly to an item only to be met with silence and then nothing - or "it's been sold" comment much later when I push things to find out where I stand. It can sometimes give you the feeling that another deal was done behind your back - whether for more $ or item was rerouted to a buddy once seller found out he wanted it. Posting "I take it" in the thread seems to be the most transparent way of letting everyone know where they stand.

Any tips or tricks to remove a ton of carbon?
azsugarbear replied to Crazymonkey's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have had good luck with Wipeout (let it soak for a few hours each time) or GM Engine Cleaner. -
Hodgdon website has Retumbo, Varget and 4831 SC on sale right now.
-
I have 800 CCI No. 34 primers. Would trade for same amount of Federal 205 SRP - if that would help. Located in N Phx.

Trying to figure out which model of RomeoZero sight this is. Did it come off a P365 or the P365XL? Does it have the 2MOA, 3MOA or 6MOA red dot?
-
Understood. I'm sure you will be able to find what you are looking for in the east valley. But for future reference, go check out Hodgdon's Reload Data Center. You will see Lil Gun listed next to H110 for both subsonic and supersonic hand loads. Early devotees used H110 powder back when the 300 BO was still known as the 300 Whisper. Most of us eventually gravitated to Lil Gun because it gave us a better fill rate while providing a lower ES. Lil Gun also gave us lower pressures with better velocity in our supersonic loads.
-
I have 7 lbs. of Lil Gun. Burn rate is nearly identical to H110. Used it for my friend's 44 Mag pistol. It also works well in 410 shotgun shells. Mesa is a lot closer than N Sctsdl, but if bustedknuckleinc can't take care of you - give me a call.

Interested, but need more info. How old is the tent? Two doors, or just one? Does it come with any flooring? What is a traditional frame? Pipe conduit? Can't see any frames on Davis site for $225.

bigmalcomb is a great guy to deal with - and he just getting back into reloading so he could use some more help getting his reloading bench stocked up.

The loading room clean out continues. I have 2.5 pounds (2 sealed & one open container) of H335 I no longer need. This is a great powder for several cartridges in the 22, 243 & 257 line-up. Also works well in 6.5 Creedmoor. Will sell together, or split up as 1 lb & 1.5 lbs. $45/lb or $100 for 2.5 lbs. I also have 2 pounds (2 sealed containers) of H CFE223. Very similar to H335. Will split or sell together. $45/lb or $90/2 lbs. Located in N. Phx/Sctsdl near 101 Loop & 56th Street.
