This little right hand rifle is a great starter rifle for young, inexperienced shooters. This rifle is near new and has been used on four different occasions; each time to teach a grandchild at the range. I would estimate some 250 to 300 rounds down the barrel. The single feed action (no magazine) makes it a safe choice for beginners as there is no place for cartridges to 'hide'. It has a 16" barrel that comes with a peep/target sight. Receiver is drilled and tapped. It weighs maybe 3-4 pounds (haven't weighed it). The stock is slender in the wrist and forearm areas for better ergonomics for smaller hands. Unlike models of similar size and weight, this rifle sports the famous Savage accu-trigger for an easier, smoother pull. Only reason I am selling is grandkids have outgrown it. Price is: $130. Not looking for any trades at this time. Low Ballers - just keep on scrolling. I try to be up front with anything I sell. An "I'll take it" posted in the thread will trump any PM. Save the PM's for questions or other comments. If you prefer, you can call/text me at 602-361-7191, but the post in the thread trumps even that. This way, no late party can come and snipe your "I'll Take It" with a higher offer at a later date. It's just the way I do business. I try to give CWT members first shot when I sell, so this stock will not be posted on any other websites for the first week.

Forgot to mention: I live near Tatum & Bell in north Phx/Scottsdale area. Willing to drive a little to meet someone half way in the valley. -
I know...I know....this ain't gun related. Can't find what I want locally. Vise weighs almost 60 lbs, so it needs a heavy or wide base to stabilize. Can't find much on line that I consider a reasonable price. Thinking I will have to fabricate my own, unless somebody has one gathering dust? What have you got?

There is a guy in Texas that deals in high-end optics called texasbinoman, but I believe his name is Larry.

Still a little unclear on this. Let's say there are 120 permits available. That would mean 24 permits (20%) available for the bonus pass for max point holders. Now lets assume that because many max point holders are applying for the same six top units (first & second choice), only 20 of the 24 permits are given out. What happens to the remaining four permits? Do they then become available to applicants with one less than max, or are they dumped back into the pool of remaining permits for the general draw?

Best of luck to you. Keep us informed.

I got to meet Mike a couple of times. He impressed me as a good man. I'm sorry for the grief his family must be feeling, even though they seem to understand that this parting is only temporary. -
Freakycamo bought a stock from me. Smooth, quick transaction. Easy to deal with.

Up for sale is a near-new Boyd's Featherweight Thumbhole laminate stock inlet for a factory Tikka T3 or T3x (may fit other models that I am not familiar with). Barrel channel provided full free float of their 300 WSM barrel contour (0.630" at muzzle). Like most Tikka stocks, it comes with a separate steel lug already imbedded in the stock. The action/lug area of the stock has never been bedded. Stock is also inletted for factory bottom metal. Color of the stock is Forest Camo wood laminate with a Satin finish. It comes with a 1" Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Length of pull (LOP) is about 13.5". It weighs 2 lbs. 6 oz. on my scale. Forearm is about 2.25" wide with flat bottom and two solid sling studs up front. There are a couple of very small scratches on either side of the forearm (at its widest point) that occurred from sitting in the safe. Overall condition is excellent. Boyd's website lists this stock at $152 plus S&H - possibly tax as well. This is a great upgrade over the factory plastic stock -no bend/give in the forearm. Asking $115. Live in the north Phx area. Not looking for any trades. Call or PM with questions. Karl 602-361-7191. First "I'll Take It" in the thread gets priority over any and all PM's.

It's interesting to see all the different responses. Here's another example: I seem to recall that on several occasions someone has put up an item for sale w/o a price - and several members have jumped in and stated that the OP had to list a price in ordeer to post an item Am I crazy, or was this on another site? If not, where is that rule written down? I've seen a lot of posters claiming this or that on the classifieds, but there just doesn't appear to be any rules. Again - I'm not advocating either side, I'm just trying to separate fact from fiction. It sounds like there is no set of rules, other than ones own personal code of conduct.
-
That's how things were explained to me when I joined ten years ago by other members. I know I've seen it in writing, but it was probably the OP setting his own rules as to how he was going to sell something. Not a big deal in this case (just some old reloading stuff), just thought it was a little more organized than it really is. I guess I have been lucky thus far in my dealings on CWT. All dealings have been straight up and honorable. Thanks for the input.
