WANTED: 270WSM new brass (Winchester brand)
azsugarbear replied to Mass-n-Trash's topic in Classified Ads
I have one bag of unfired Winchester 270 WSM brass I could part with. I have lots of 1X fired brass I am still using. Bag has been opened only to prep brass (flash holes reamed & necks chamfered). I have no idea what these are going for. Any possible trades? -
Give us some idea what you are looking for: Base model that will get the job done? Varmint model with slower twist? Long range coues rifle with faster twist for heavier bullets. Upper end custom?

Is there a set of rules for conduct when buying/selling in the classifieds? I just did a cursory view on the site and couldn't find what I was looking for. I recently had a deal go sideways with a newbie seller who didn't understand an "I'll take it" post in his thread. Losing out on the deal was minor compared to the amount of time I wasted putting my schedule on hold (it meant a couple hour trip to pick it up from him) , waiting for him to respond to me. When I told him how things normally work on the site, I wanted to refer him to some ground rules as to how we operate. Do they exist, or is it something we have informally made up and others learn over time by being on the site? I'm talking about such things as an "I'll take it" posting in a thread, or how a posting in the thread takes priority over a PM, etc. Inquiring minds want to know......

Continuing to clean out the reloading room. Found a couple pounds of powder I will not be using in the near future. $50 apiece - that's just what I have in them. Text or call Karl @ 602-361-7191 with questions. First "I'll take it" in this thread trumps any PM's or phone conversations.

Back up again. These are great performing bullets. I have one unopened box of 100 and another box that has 93 bullets. I have lowered the price on these to $120 for both boxes. Call or text Karl @ 602-361-7191 with questions. First "I'll take it: in this threads trumps any PM's or phone conversations.

Just one pound of each.

More stuff from the reloading room. I have a set of Go / No Go gauges for the 6.5 PRC mad by Pacific Tool & Gauge. You can buy directly from them at $74 plus shipping, or get them from me for $65.00 Call or text Karl @ 602-361-7191 with questions. First "I'll take it" posted in this thread trumps any PM's or phone conversations with me.

I have an 8 lb. jug of IMR 8133 that I would trade for your RL26. Where are you located?

I will probably regret this, but I just don't shoot this enough to keep it around. Up for sale is a minty CZ 455 American in 17 HMR. I bought this back in 2011 thinking I would get more into rimfire, but that hasn't been the case. She has been relegated to the being a safe queen. These are out of stock nearly everywhere. I estimate less than 125 rounds have gone down the barrel. The 455 was designed as an easy 'switch-barrel' rifle for those looking to shoot the other rimfire cartridges available. The numbers on the 17 HMR barrel and action match - as they came as a set. I also have the 22LR barrel conversion kit (which includes the barrel, magazine and spacer for mag well) for this rifle that can be purchased separately, The action has been "skim bedded" to the stock and a new spring and shim from a Yo Dave trigger kit has been installed. The other shims & springs from this kit, along with the original CZ spring $ shim are included with the sale, The stock is a beautiful tiger-striped piece of walnut that is rare for a CZ factory stock. The stock has a few faint scratches. metal blueing is 100% with no scratches, rust or freckling. The rifle comes with the 17 HMR barrel, original 5 round magazine, all springs & shims mentioned above, manual, test target, a Lucas bore guide and original CZ box. Not included at this price is the 22LR conversion kit, bipod or scope and rings. These items may be purchased separately. Price is $495 and it is firm. Low-ballers keep scrolling. The first "I'll Take It" trumps any private messages or texts. Karl 602-361-7191.

Continuing to thin out the closet. Next item up for sale is a sweet little Remington Model 7 chambered in 243 Win. The only remaining factory parts are the action, bottom metal and the X-Mark trigger. Everything else is custom. The barrel is 22" in length and has a fast twist of 1 in 7" to stabilize the heavy-for-caliber bullets. Currently grouping 0.5 to 0.75 MOA with Berger 105 gr. VLD's. The action was re-faced prior to spinning on the custom barrel. Current round count is 289. Gunsmithing done by benchrest hall-of-famer: Gary O'Cock. Rifle is cerakoted in five color digital camo pattern with green sage color as base coat. Weighs 8.5 pounds with the scope (not included). I estimate a little over 7 pounds without scope and rings. This is a great rig - I just never find the time to shoot it. The scope is Sightron SII Big Sky 6.5-20 x 50mm. These are hard to find on the used scope market. It is one of the very few lightweight, one inch scope tubes that has parallax adjustment. It is not part of the offering, but could be negotiated as part of sale if buyer was interested. Here is what it would cost to reproduce the rifle today: Remington Model 7 (s/h + FFL fee) $ 650 B&C Medalist sporter contour stock 300 Benchmark SS fluted barrel 440 Gunsmithing 300 Cerakote 200 Total $1,890 PRICE REDUCED: $1,325. Low Ballers - just keep on scrolling. Only trades I would be interested in: Atlas BT45 LW17; 6.5 Berger 156 gr.; 6.5 ELD-M 147gr.; 30 cal Beger OTM 230 gr. I try to be up front with everything I sell. An "I'll take it" posted in the thread will trump any PM. Save the PM's for questions or other comments. If you prefer, you can call/text me at 602-361-7191, but the post in the thread trumps even that. This way, no late party can come and snipe your "I'll Take It" with a higher offer at a later date. It's just the way I do business. I try to give CWT members first shot when I sell, so this stock will not be posted on any other websites for the first week or two. Located near Tatum & Bell in north Phx.
