If someone took the bull you most definitely see signs of people, footprints, meat cut off with a knife, tire tracks etc. Any signs of dragging?

Saw these earlier today. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/spo/1957961658.html

You may have to start looking for circling birds. If he's down they will come. Best of luck!

Great Pics!! Especially that bull in the first picture...wow! If I had a tag for that area, I'd look for him everyday for the rest of the season.

I would recommend locating tracks, droppings and water. Then place the camera in a nearby natural pinch point such as a wash, canyon, between a couple large trees etc.

IMO.... 1. Cameras: You do get some insight into the game in a particular area, but more then anything it's just cool to get some candid close-up pictures of game. I just bought my first game cam and put it out yesterday. Can't wait to see what I get! 2. Baiting: I'm not for it. You're potentially manipulating behavior, which could be a detriment to a species in an area. Not to mention the chemicals/hormones etc. you’re introducing to the environment and the game you may consume. Given some of the EPA and USDA regulations, I'm surprised baiting is legal. With that said it's such a minor issue, therefore flying under the radar for now. Yesterday, I discovered some corn; I didn't like it, but it's not my business. 3. Personal Property: If it’s not yours, leave it alone. If you find something you believe is illegal report it, and let the authorities manage the situation.

There are some brands which offer non-lead rounds. Has anyone tried them out?

Awesome Buck! Yes mount the first one, I did and so did my brother. It's quite an accomplishment to get that first one on the ground. Great job!!

Hi Nick, You're reading my mind. I sent Leupold an email a couple days ago to see what types of mods were available for my scope. Which turrets were available and which reticles. We'll see...haven't heard back yet. Take care, Tim

Hello All, Thanks for the great comments and suggestions. I will start investigating some of these streams of information and report back once I’ve made a trip to the range. Hopefully this weekend! Thanks again! Tim

Here are few pictures of my 2008 rifle Coues.

Hi Ernesto, Thanks for the reply. I guess I've been reading too much about the need for mil dot scopes, heavy barrels and hand loaded ammo if you really want to reach out there with any accuracy. Thanks Tim

Nice! The first and second pic's are very cool, with the bulls in the background. Looks like a great spot.
