Backorder Fulfilled. WOW!
fatbastard replied to grapevinedave's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Like going back in time and getting a deal on them! I never order anything from OP that I want in a hurry. I have never actually had bad service from them, just slow sometimes and once I was short and item. I thought for sure they were going to screw me, taking on average a week to answer an email and each progressing email asking questions I had already answered. They came through and took my word that the package was short and sent me the missing item. Good to know they keep their word to this extreme as well. -
That's art. Nice piece.

I didn't save any money, just didn't give to that guy. I ended up with a rifle sighted, ported barrel.

Curious as well. The last shop I asked down here in Tucson quoted me $80 per hole for 4 on a tac 14. I took that to mean they didn't really want the job, seems a bit much I dunno.

My pop has a nice selection of FE blocks and maybe a 302 laying around. I was lucky growing up, our back yard was a pick and pull for Mustangs, Galaxies, Falcons, and 64-72 F250's. My first car at 16years old was a 67 F250 crew cab. My pop drove the wheels off it (actually the timing chain at 240k) when I was a pup. When I got my license, we pulled a 390 from a Galaxy he had stashed and swapped it in. During the swap, my dad ran a check on the motor and heads serial number and found out the Galaxy was a police interceptor. With that info he decided that I only needed a 2 barrel manifold....... sumbich got 6 MPG but still landed me in enough trouble. Not everyone was as fortunate as I. When we finished the motor swap, he drove it around the block on a test drive. After everything seemed fine he throws me the keys and says, "I will follow you to the insurance office." I said " wait, I don't know how to drive a stick!!" He says, " that's why I'm following you".

WTB: Sig Sauer P238 (.380) **** NO LONGER NEEDED *****
fatbastard replied to eddielasvegas's topic in Classified Ads
I tried leaving a Sig 1911 Nightmare in .357 Sig alone in the dark safe with a .32 Seecamp to see if I could make my own P238 in 9mm and it never happened. I think the Seecamp is a lesbian. -
CAL in Casa Grande had a stack. Limit one though.

My card was hit but it doesn't add up to the 3 deer tags we applied for.
