Yep, that's why the rule was initially to ban them for the take of game. Everybody seemed too caught up on how difficult it was to define them being used in the take of game to realize that all azgfd was doing was creating the most widespread ban within their power.

I've tried two pronghorn, one was the best game meat I've ever ate the other was the worst. Most likely because of how it was taken care of after the kill.

One herd that I hunt pretty regularly always has a few knocked over barrel cactus around them that they have been eating on but I was blown away at how many more knocked over cactus I saw this year. This herd was also bigger this year than the past two years.

I've heard this from a few guides and it blows me away because I've had good results with montecs. 2 bulls one at 25 the other at 35, both double lung pass through and the 25 yd shot dead centered a rib on entrance. Both had some of the best blood trails I've seen and ran less than 100 yds. They did a number on a couple pigs in texas as well, though the blood trails were weak on those. Helped a friend get a bull with them too and he had a double lung pass through at 50 yds with short draw length and 50 pound draw weight, good blood trail and he died just out of sight.

I've had a pit boss classic for about 2 months and so far I've been pretty happy with it. The ability to slide the heat shield over to grill over an open flame is nice but I havent used that feature much. If you're gonna do much smoking you're gonna want to get a pellet tube to add some extra smoke but that's true for many of the different brands. I feel like it's a great grill of you're looking for a budget friendly option but if I had more money to spend I probably would have looked closer at the rec tec or higher end camp chef models.
