if you really wanna hunt just get your grade up
-
Haha well he should be easy to spot now with the arrow sticking out of his antler

I havent heard anything about him but if you're looking for someone in Gilbert you might check out Eric at Trading post taxidermy. We took both my elk and my brothers elk to Eric and we are very happy with the job he did. He is a great guy and he had our elk ready for us after just 5 months.

I'd guess he is somewhere in the 360's

Awesome bull. Congrats!

I was in 4a helping some buddies out last weekend. Up in the pines they were bugling a bit but not much bugling down in the cedars. It was kinda hit and miss too, one day they might bugle good and the next day you might not hear a single bugle. I dont think the rut is really kicked in yet over there cuz we seen a few herds of cows without bulls and alot of real small bulls had cows but the bigger bulls were usually by themselves.

I just got a picture message of giant bull that says it is a 470 bull that was taken around Camp Verde. Anyone else hear about it or have any information on it?

Blank bale shooting like kaffer62 suggested would be a good idea. But if you dont have a large enough target just get close to your target and practice lightly pulling the trigger, make sure you will not miss the target but you dont need to focus on hitting a specific spot. The point is to get a feel of what a perfect shot (not punching the trigger) feels like. Shoot like that for a week or so then move back and practice shooting like normal without punching the trigger. If you dont want to go through that process then when you practice just try not to pull your trigger right when you get your pin on the target, that is most peoples problem with target panic. Try to hold the pin on the dot and set your finger on the trigger then slowly pull so that you do not know when it will go off. I hope this makes sense and helps.

cool pics and captions!

I'd definitely shoot him.

congrats to the hunters on those great bucks! Those rage broadheads are bad news, my brother shot his elk with one a few years ago and i've never seen so much blood there was even blood splatter way up on his horns. His bull probably only went about 10 yards.

If you read the comments the guy who posted the video said the guy didnt clean the barrel before he shot it

Great Job! congrats on getting your first buck and with a bow! Thanks for sharing

I like the primos terminator. I have tried a few others and found it the easiest to use.

I have that tripod with the ball head. When I bought it I didn't realize they sold one with the pan head. I love the the tripod but hate the ball head. I definitely recommend getting the one with the pan head, if you don't you will regret it.

He is a BEAST! What do you think he would score?

I have a weatherby vangaurd all weather in 270 wsm. I love the gun and love the caliber. However if your looking for a light gun your probably better off to go with the Sako 85 finnlight. its probably better quality too since vangaurd is weatherby's cheaper line of rifles.

A couple of years ago I read in an outdoor magazine that it had just been scientifically proven that the smell of human urine does not disturb deer and other game. If I remember right some university had done a study on it. I just cant remember for sure which magazine it was, I am wanting to say it was Outdoor Life but I'm not positive.
