Now to take into consideration the jobs that do go to illegal immigrants, they are still buying groceries, fuel, cars, clothing, paying for housing, etc. That still pushes money into our economy, granted there is some leaving the country but the majority is staying here.
-
So now we are going to blame the Obama administration's horrible policies on corporations participating in our economy? Are we supposed to bring all economic growth to a standstill because any new jobs could potentially go an illegal immigrant? Seems pretty foolish to me. A foreign company hiring illegal immigrants, where a good portion of the money is sent overseas, and a portion of the paychecks back to the families of the illegal immigrant in a foreign country. There is not much economic growth, if the money doesn't stay in the country. Ask an economist how this works. You will be enlightened. Economics was one of my favorite areas of study in college. Ask 5 economists and you will get 5 different answers. I would much rather a US based company be mining it but the reality is that Rio Tinto/BHP are not gonna give up the project. Also I have a hard time believing that a majority or a large portion of these jobs will go to illegal immigrants. Once again, stopping all economic growth because of the fear of illegals taking jobs and money going overseas is economic suicide.

Obama was going to give a $3000 credit to any business that hires an amnesty illegal with a work permits. Jobs are great. Just depends on who they give them too. The state and the Fed's get their tax revenue which they will blow anyway. So now we are going to blame the Obama administration's horrible policies on corporations participating in our economy? "Significant economic impact The Resolution Copper mine will be a significant economic engine for the region, employing an estimated 1,400 workers directly while creating another 2,300 jobs indirectly. These jobs are projected to generate total wages of approximately US$220 million a year. The mine is expected to generate US$61.4 billion in economic benefits to Arizona over its lifetime, adding nearly US$20 billion to local, state and federal tax coffers." Sounds like Rio Tinto and BHP are gonna be really sticking it to Arizona/Superior.

Technically picking up a dead head is illegal. The carcass must be checked out by g&f to make sure the animal died of natural causes before you can take it.Not necessarily. . If a head is old enough without flesh or hair it is fair game to pick up no matter what happened to it. In the end calling azgfd is only gonna benefit azgfd. Not gonna help you or the guy that legally killed that bull. Best bet is try and find the guy that killed it and can prove it. Or just come back at a later date once hair and flesh is gone and it's all yours and azgfd doesn't get anything out of the deal.Once the hunt is closed he can't legally take the bull, whether he can prove he shot it or not.

Regardless of what any of us feel is right or wrong, the fact is that if you lead the unsuccessful hunter to this bull and he takes what is left home you will be aiding him in breaking the law. I'm sure you mean well but be careful of what you post online, it could come back to bite you.

Well I picked up a pound of RL17 to try it out with berger 140's. Problem is now I am looking for load data and I can't find much. Anybody used it before that can recommend a good load to work up from?
-
Thanks guys. I think I'll give it a shot. scoutm- what size bullet did you use?
-
Would I be better off trying the rl22? That's the only other powder I have on hand right now.

My brother used one. Hit the bull at about 40 yards, double lung, the bull ran about another 60 yards and piled up. I don't think it was a complete pass through, seems like it hit a rib on the exit side that stopped it.

What type of reticle on the scope? -
Congrats on the pigs! I was one of the hunters you ran into in the wash Saturday. We hunted in there again Sunday morning but never could get it done. Seemed like that area has got a lot more pressure this year than past years.

I figured a guy could use the 32x in good light and if you have to back it out to 24x in lower light you are still not losing anything compared to the vortex viper pst. The dot at the cross hair looked great. I still have at least a couple weeks before I can get my rifle back from the gunsmith to try it out. It's killing me!

I also just got the sightron siii 8-32x56. Haven't had a chance to shoot with it yet but glass is very crisp and clear and according to the research I did the turrets are supposed to track very well.i really like the lrmoa reticle. Only negative thing I noticed was that when you get close to 32x magnification there is a drop in clarity, it could be an issue in low light.

I know the mesa office is. I assume all the others will be too

I have this slightly used Badlands sacrifice backpack. I actually only carried it on two hunts before deciding to get a pack that fit me better. Looking to get $200 for it.

If not for him me and Tyler both would not have got our first deer back in 08. heck, if not for him we probably wouldn't have ever started hunting whitetails. As you said nobody deserved this buck more than him! Hopefully it's the first of many more!
