Interests
I love anything outdoors...I tie flies for fly fishing, i love to hunt big game and last year (2003) i was bitten by the coues deer bug.
-
i have to say go with a colt python....comfortable to shoot, reliable and accurate

i think i agree with live2hunt i like my 30-06 (ruger m77 mkII all weather) it puts em where i point em...i have a friend that shoots a winchester m70 in .270 wsm...seems to be an awsome shooting rifle...kind of expensive to shoot though. i guess its all in what youre comfortable shooting and what your wallet will allow you to shoot.....what ever youre shooting this season i hope it shoots streight and connects with a monster buck good luck everyone S_S

Great buck!...nice job patrick...what a way to start the coues hunting career! Thanks for sharing the pics johnny S_S

recurveman, i dont know about saving a deer but given the chance i will most definatley shoot a lion...ive seen them while i was living in utah but as a lot of people seem to have experienced i didnt have a gun(just a fly rod and a couple of woolybuggers). if i get one ill be looking for more advise on how to cook them...ive been told they are alot like pork....is this true? well the hunt is coming up pretty quick...i cant wait to get out there! ive been bitten by the coues bug!...(carefull...its contagious) shaun
