    Mountain House Buckets

I recently bought a freeze dryer so I am going to replace my emergency stash of food / backpacking / hunting with my own homemade meals. I bought these about 10 years ago and they have been stored indoors ever since. These were a lot cheaper 10 years ago and I am willing to pass on the savings to fellow CWT at the original price I paid. Currently on Amazon these are now around $125 / bucket and the new ones replace two meals with a breakfast granola “meal” so you really only get 10 meals. I have 9 new, sealed buckets. They contain 4 each of Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Chili Mac, Chicken and Rice for a total of 12 pouches. I also have 1 unsealed, opened bucket with 11 pouches (I opened one bucket to eat one meal for taste test). If you haven’t had these, they are really good meals The Chili Mac is 🔥🔥 Selling buckets for $60 each and the opened 11 pouch bucket for $50. This is a great deal for anyone who wants an emergency store of food or just cheap hunting meals. 30+ year shelf life (but practically indefinite) Located in Queen Creek. Please PM if interested.

I know it’s not the point of this thread, but two people were just killed by a motorist on Lincoln in PV trying to wrangle a dog. Be careful.

    E-Tag Poll

Curious on opinions from people who have used the e-tag.

    E-Tag Poll

Well if you’ve never used it then I don’t care what you think tbh. The question was pretty clear it was for people who have used it in the field

    How's the AZGFD E-Tag app?

how is that any different than the same scenario with paper tag?

    How's the AZGFD E-Tag app?

Seems like the same people who complain about the e-tags also complain about how antiquated AZG&F is.

    How's the AZGFD E-Tag app?

It’s like the Costco digital membership card on costco app. The old card was fine, no problems…. Keep it in wallet. The digital card on app is fine too. Both ways work, use whichever one you like. I don’t think people will argue too much for one over the other. One thing on lost tags, if you lose physical tag, you have to drive to a AZG&F license dealer and get new one for $4, and complete an affidavit if I remember right before you can “tag” it. If I lose my phone I can sign into any other device and still e-tag it which could be a big deal depending on how far the nearest license dealer is when hunting. It’s also very easy to transfer possession to someone else for transport using the e-tag For anyone who is curious what it looks like when you e-tag an animal, this was from my deer hunt in Nov:

    How's the AZGFD E-Tag app?

No lost tags or licenses Immediate reporting of harvest info All licenses and tags on phone in one place No need to carry tag or license in field No waiting for tag in mail …….Are a few benefits I see

    How's the AZGFD E-Tag app?

Easy. Keeps license info and tag info on phone. I killed a coues buck in Nov and used it. Click “tag my animal” on the app and it gives you a number. Write that number on a tag and zip tie on antlers or just write in duct tape and wrap around antler. I was skeptical initially but found it to be great and simple.

    Accident attorney

This is what liability insurance is for. It’s their problem. I find it odd that they are contacting you directly and not your insurance company.

    Accident attorney

That sounds like you’re being targeted by a scam for sure. I would call local PD and report it. You have no obligation to pay outside of insurance settlements. It’s possible that someone not even involved in the accident got a hold of your accident report and are trying to get money out of you claiming to be the other driver. Getting a lawyer is just going to cost you money. Police report is free and the police can tell them to pound sand. Make sure if you call PD emphasize that you think you’re being scammed. If you come at them like it’s a civil dispute they won’t help (because it’s civil/no crime) Have you called your insurance agent? what did they say?
