My buddy’s grandmother works at G&F. She said there is a problem with the draw. They ran the Bonus Pass and Katie Hobbs drew every Elk tag. They are sorting through it.

An AR with a buffer tube and a < 16” barrel is legal if it was listed on the 4473 as a pistol or receiver. Always has been legal that way. All that is already talked about in above posts.

Is your long range shooting for targets or hunting?

Need 4-5 hens as mine are getting old. I’m surprised how hard it is to find young hens for sale and don’t want to deal with chicks. Anyone know a source for young layers in the SE valley?

Yes, I have it on a ultralight rifle…. Kimber 308. I have the 3-10 which is plenty for a 308. Rifle, scope and rings come in at 6 1/3 lbs. I had several smaller coues in my scope at 650 yds last Nov and would have felt comfortable taking that shot with 10x but this year i’m bringing my 6.5 PRC with 16x Trijicon Only gripe about the NF is the reticle Can be tough to see in low light without lamination or in daytime brush

Credo HX 2.5-15x42 SHV 3-10x42 I’m looking for a lighter weight scope for my Kimber 308 (sub 24 oz). Likely won’t be shooting it past 500 yds. I think I narrowed it down to one of these scopes. Most important characteristic is reliability and toughness. Any experience with either of these? Open to their suggestions as well.

Get an Injunction Against Harassment. Then, when he violates it, the police have a criminal charge.

no stock = no SBR but also not a pistol anymore but an “Any Another Weapon” lol. clear as mud?
-
Yes it will because it’ll be a rifle now and not a pistol.
-
State lines? Yeah kind of a drag. But you can sell or transfer to someone else or a dealer. Just takes more paperwork.

Also, the lawyer in that video gave bad info about AZ laws. All NFA firearms are legal in AZ if they comply with Federal laws. AZ law (13-3101.A8a) says a Prohibited Weapon includes: (iv) A rifle with a barrel length of less than sixteen inches, or shotgun with a barrel length of less than eighteen inches, or any firearm that is made from a rifle or shotgun and that, as modified, has an overall length of less than twenty-six inches. However 13-3101.B also states: B. The items set forth in subsection A, paragraph 8, subdivision (a), items (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) of this section does not include any firearms or devices that are possessed, manufactured or transferred in compliance with federal law.

Yeah the laws are ridiculous. Good question about the lower.

Yes, always has been. If it was purchased and listed on the 4473 as either a “receiver” or “pistol”. Once a “rifle”, always a rifle. I know it’s confusing. Example: you bought a stripped lower and on the 4473, it’s listed as a receiver. You add a 11.5” upper (no foregrip) and only have the buffer tube…. that’s legal If you bought a factory 16” BCM AR15 (4473 will say “rifle”) and put a 11.5” upper on it and removed the stock, leaving only the tube, that is “technically” illegal. Im not a lawyer, but 20 years LE. If I had a AR pistol with a brace, I would remove brace, and do the tax exempt Form 1. I’m as skeptical as anyone but I don’t think they are trying to trick millions of people into criminal charges. I think it’s a mess and they are trying to get all the braces gone, and all the current braced pistols legal, so they can stop the braced pistol fiasco. I own 2 SBR’s and I did the tax stamp thing even when braces were an option. I knew those things would be shut down sooner or later. 👍 AR on top: bought as complete factory BCM rifle. Cannot be made into a pistol, but could be SBR’ed like any other AR rifle or pistol. AR middle: Built from stripped lower I SBR’ed it with a Form 1 $200 tax. Scorpion on bottom: bought as a pistol and SBR’ed with Form 1 $200 tax hope that makes sense.

All of them. Everything. If it looks anything that resembles a stock, it’s now a stock.
-
Not exactly. You can own an AR15 (or any other firearm) with < 16” barrel. It just can’t have a stock or front foregrip. Owning a AR with less than 16” barrel and just a buffer tube is 100% legal. You aren’t admitting you own an illegal SBR. ATF would never know if there was ever a brace on it or not and would be impossible to prove. Not every AR pistol, PCC, etc in America has an Sig brace on it. Theoretically, you could apply for a Form 1 tax free “SBR” owning one of these without ever owning a brace: When you take photos of the pistol and upload during application, remove the brace. The lawyer on the video has too many blanket statements and says everyone who owns an AR pistol with a brace on it is now in possession of an illegal SBR. No, not if they take 90 seconds and remove the brace.

another self-righteous paranoid conspiracy…. or maybe just another coincidence.

For someone who isn’t a “do-nothing”, you sure waste a lot of time in the classifieds proofreading ads with no intention of ever buying anything. Get off the classifieds and read a book! I’m sure you still believe there was a lone gunman too. Stalin referred to your kind as “Useful Idiots” “No matter how paranoid or conspiracy-minded you are, what the government is actually doing is worse than you imagine.” -William Blum

”Conspiracy theorists” have been right about most everything the past 3 years.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33191178/ So heres the real story with the egg shortage…don't want us to have antibodies. (Yes, more conspiracy theories from me). Straight from Tony Fauci’s NIH Eggs are the new Ivermectin. They are shutting it down.
