I held a 770, and got the vibe that something was not right... The 700 SPS fits me and my hands like a glove, I have owned and shot it before with factory sights and it was simply made for me.

After doing research, I'm going back to a trusty Remington 700SPS or 770 in a .270 or 25-06. I love the remington brand and It was my first firearm I ever had. I bought the Remington 870 12 gauge when I was 19 and I pass it down to my kids. Along with the next Remington Rifle I get.

I hear people using bait but the rabbits should do it, heck even the chicken idea from antlerobsession would work, But as bowhunt said, if there going after turkey, "try using a turkey call". Always stick with the calling and ad long pauses in between, these AZ coyotes can be tricky so stay with it even if you don't see any for over a hour. They will eventually investigate the noise especially if it the same sound as there food source. But, I'm sure they will come as soon as you start calling from the sounds of things... Best of luck on your hunt . PS Trapping would help your brother greatly and now I really understand the importance of trapping, those coyotes will take everything you have unfortunately, if you guys don't act ASAP.

My first car was a crappy 1987 Toyota Paseo, and it was a piece of junk. I sold that car after a month of driving it, I just used my dad's Toyota Tacoma to get around even though it would wobble side to side violently after going over 60 on the highway lol. It was a 4x4 and got me to where I had to go, so in other words life is better with a truck and a bronco is a really safe truck. Consider passing it on to the new hunting generation.

That is so sad. I really love dogs, there a blessing to man kind. I will pray for your brother's dog and your brother's family. I have a Primo's power dogg and I used the serenade function on sunrise or sunset but as a coyote hunter, use what best interprets the environment your in. For example, if theres birds like crows and woodpeckers or rabbits (as you mentioned) try and recreate their natural sound even in destress. If you live in the valley, I am more than happy to lend you my remote controlled Primo's power dogg, it has sounds like a lone howl, serenade, female invitation, rabbit destress, woodpecker destress, crow's, and many more. Send me a PM if you want to borrow it , and it is the e-caller on my avatar, all I ask is for you to show us a picture of your reults from hunting those pesky coyotes.

I'm with your daughter.

I use scent lock on my hunting cloths and boots, and when I get to my hunting grounds, I just brush up on trees and leafs, I can't complain and neither can them coyotes (because there dead !). But that is a great idea to have it in a spray bottle, I'm going to try that out. Thanks for sharing.

We're just giving a "fellow couesman" some $H!T... Thats all

I also have even seen a rabbit jump after shooting it with my 12 gauge when I was small game hunting for it. And I remember it jumped pretty high and ran for about 15 yards after being shoot. So, it is possible but what kind of reward is in that bronco to make it jump that high? Maybe your magic mushrooms stash under the hood?

So you would still prefer the Remington?

The recoil pad on the 700's kick like a mule but I had a after market limbsaver on my 700 and it helped so much. It was the most accurate rifle I ever shot and I loved it.

He admited to it having pants when he said "It was'nt long before he about pooped his pants jumping out", so, you got to put 2 and 2 together.

I have own hundreds of rabbits as pets and have even raised them as babies. I have literally seen hundreds of pet rabbits in our back yard as a teen, and being 75% Portuguese and 25% Brazilian, I have to admit that my parents made me and my sister eat the rabbits as kids but It was delicious. I have played with them and have had them in my back yard with my chow chow protecting them from neighborhood cats, and my chow never even tried to eat one, he was always on guard and was a great protecter (God Rest His Soul). I have seen rabbits jumps almost like squirrels but it is pretty rare since they are not built for jumping. I never seen them jump that high unfortunately, but that where the magic mushrooms must of kicked in though. Rabbits are the biggest sign of magic mushroom use. Was the rabbit wearing a outfit and have a clock in his hand? I'm asking because you said " It was'nt long before he about pooped his pants jumping out", so obviously the rabbit had pants.

LMAO I really prefer to spent the extra money and get the Remington. I am really concidering trying trapping and how can I hate something I never tried? What does "+1" mean? I sold my SPS .270 for money reasons but I learned my lesson I want my Remington back. I still have my crappy Mosin Nogant 7.62x54R but it's good for target shooting and the story behind it but definately not hunting, I have a Remington 870 Shotgun, Taurus .38 Special and PT .45, along with my XD 40, and my tippmann paintball gun lol. Man do I miss my Remington .270!!!!

Would you prefer the Remington over Savage? Even for short or long range shots?

I'm surprised they gave you the stone as a souvenir... It's great to hear your good and back on the coues forum.

dove regs
MangeyJoe replied to coues krazy's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
If I dove hunt in the evening, the regulations claim one dove per hunt? So the bag limit is 1? -
Last night. My mom and dad woke up from sleeping to extremely loud bangs that almost sounded like a home invasion not to mention the CHIHUAHUA was barking loudly. After ther noise stopped they went downstairs to see what was taken and what damages were done. All the locks were locked and nothing seems out of place except for one thing. MY mom's favorite vase was upside down in the kitchen which she would never do. I think it was a sign that god heard all your prayers and is responding to my mom's illness. There has never been any ghost like paranormal activity until now so Thanks to everyone for giving us hope.

God bless her and her family. Stay strong and also stay and keep her positive. Your step mom is in my prayers.

That looks like excellent work. And not expensive at all. I would like to do that to a bobcat.

Thank you those prayers are much appreciated. I will update people once I get word on what's going on.

That is great news. Get well soon
