have had great performance from 4 blade muzzy 100 grain. carbon arrows fly true from my Bow Tech Diamond Marquis. Have tried different types of tips and this one seems to do the trick for my set up. Best of luck to all with archery tags in 2012.

Was out today, windy. Had a big 4x4 run across road in front of jeep with nose buried in mule deer does behind. Did not pay us no mind. Doe on the other hand, did not want to wait around. She took Mr. Big over a small knoll and was gone in Palo Verde thicket slick as can be. It was a great day to be out. Best of luck to all.

Been watching this and thanks for reply from dblung. something to think on. I was in a company sponsored class on team building, seated at tables with 15-20 folks per row. 10-12 rows in room. Excercise was: person on farthest left was handed a short paragraph on sheet of paper , read it and lean over and whisper to person on right what you read. Continue until last person on right got message. Message repeated at end--not in sync with original paragraph from left side. Point being, hunter A and B know what happened and that's how it is. Best of luck on future hunts to all.

My friend passed on 2 opportunities this early hunt in 22. Opening morning on really big bull at 35 yards, just didn't give him the right angle to let the hammer down. Was close several times, just didn't present the shot. Following weekend same thing, 4 chances. Drew on one and held, not the right angle. Chose not to let the arrow fly. That is ethical in my book. Best of luck to all next year.

What a shame, nephews buddy is up in 27 on bull hunt. Sent him pic of big bull found on Monday before hunt started, succumbed to effects of fire or something. Didn't look to good, big rack on him 7x7.

I have hunted down south and seen this same sort of thing also. Your decision not to shoot at that deer was a good one. Them fellas that were hauling that contraband were not packing iron for nothing. If they knew where you were as you stated, do not think that return fire would not have ensued had you shot at that deer. Rip offs happen daily out in the desert. Protecting that load is more important than a life to them. Good call on your behalf. Best of luck.

What weird stuff have you glassed or happen well glassing for game?
chico replied to seek100plus's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
While glassing in unit 22 out by Sunflower , I see a dirt bike rider coming down a trail. The fella was covered in green riding gear and riding a green dirt bike. I watched him negotiate a sharp turn and his front tire-handle bars were ripped from his grip, hit a rock it looked like. Anyways he gets launched like an arrow and hits the dirt. As I am watching him on the ground, I check my cell phone for service and it is good. I am wondering if he is going to get up or is hurt. The individual rises after a few minutes, and walks over to the dirt bike and proceeds to start kicking the crap out of the fuel tank--seat area. After he tires I guess, he lifts the bike up and has to kick start a few times and off he goes. Glad he got up and did not have to make a 911 call. -
Congrats to this young man, very nice to see the torch being passed on out in the field.
