    ML HELP NEEDED PLEASE

It's sounds like something mechanical, I would check all of fittings to make sure they're tight before changing anything.

    2013-2014 raffle buck

He is still glowing. I tagged along with him a couple of times and in late March he missed a 110"ish buck at 60 yards and I heard him mumble "I don't think I am ready for this to be over." It may have been a "Freudian Miss." He was in it for as much the journey as the trophy which makes his success even greater. I was kind of hoping he would not find a big buck because he did mention shooting the smallest buck he could find on the last day and sending the picture in to the super raffle people. I thought that would be epic. He must of hunted at least 70 days to fill the tag solo and with all kinds of experts and styles. I do not think a nicer guy could have won the tag.

    First Archery Memory

My first memory was my uncle giving me my dad's bow, a PSE Strataflight, and some assorted arrows. I could not pull not pull it back at 52 lbs, he backed it off as much as he dared (no need for a proshop back then) and I still could not pull it back. I did push ups all fall to the point I could pull it back consistently and even hit the target. I had to shoot bare fingers, I was to weak to use a release, saved up my lunch money and spent 14.50 at G&F for a deer permit for January. My hunting grounds, now an apartment complex was between Speedway and Anklam on the west side of Tucson. It was around the time of kickoff for the Broncos/Redskins(I think) Superbowl and me and my brother were headed to my secret spot. I saw the biggest deer I have ever shot at, at thirty yards. I pulled back and shot, hitting exactly where I aimed and missed the deer by twenty feet or so. I think that deer is still laughing at me.

    2014 3B muzzleloader deer

I think those guys used the term "feral" not "wild" to legalize it. Lee I will PM you a couple of spots to check out where I have been watching a couple of bucks.

Mules, but not the kind you're thinking.

I think BP has taken away the low end for the most part. Pretty average mules not even armed.

    Cows, Calves and Spikes

I was looking for a couple of bulls I chased last season during a limited opportunity hunt. I could not find them but their sure is a lot of elk in the limited opportunity area. Angry Cow calves Spikes
  15. With all of the pictures I posted the broadhead went through the vitals with the exception of the elk.
  16. Here are some of the animals I have taken with mechanicals over the last few years. They were shot from 10 yards to 45 yards with my Matthews Monster and a gold tip series 22 ultralight arrow. The broadheads were tekken 2 blade, rage 2 and 3 blade 100 grain. The broadheads I did not like both mechanical and fixed were the NAP Spitfire and the Muzzy four blade. The broadheads I use now are the 2 and 3 blade rage depending on the mood when I leave the house. Some of the pictures are graphic (bare with me I am suffering insomnia) 10 yards tekken rage 3 blade 15 yards rage 3 blade 15 yards rage 3 blade (long story but shot 5 times, not the broadheads fault, operator error) 18 yards Rage 2 blade 45 yards Not pictured a couple more turkeys (assorted broadheads), my 2012 coues(rage 3 blade), 2010ish bear(tekken 3 blade), and 2010 fixed blade muley(muzzy 3 blade fixed) Antelope (tekken 2 blade)

    Draw is soon

Hey now, there is some talent at Pete's. The last time I was there, there was four girls there. Three were from the valley and one was a local gal. All very hot in there own right. The local was supporting her young son. Two were putting themselves through school and my personal favorite liked money and liked to travel so she worked as a dancer. Its surprisingly easy to talk to naked women after a few gentlemen jacks.

    Unit 1/3b fire

I would never want to impede on your rights to go anywhere in this great country, but by that same respect I would like you to value my rights, property, livelihood, and most importantly my family by not starting a fire and causing me and many people like you and me to evacuate because of fire. Whether a fire is caused by accident or purpose, naturally or by stupidity the effects last several lifetimes and will directly effect tens of thousands of people both short term and for many years to come. There is a reason to close the forest not to keep you out, but to keep people in their homes and to keep hundred year old trees at a level more than match sticks. You can always tell when someone has gone through a fire or natural disaster when the emergency broadcast system comes on they listen. I know you would not cause a fire, but their are too many stupid people in the US to discriminate.

    Unit 1/3b fire

Just from my experience. I have hunted the same area in the heart of the wallow fire area since I was young and pretty to now. I have spent nearly everyday of the of the last few general deer seasons and much of the archery seasons chasing game in the wallow area and have not seen the numbers from 2011 and earlier for whatever reason. 3c is my home unit now and this was my first choice for deer this year on a gut feeling and there are still great deer in the unit, but it is my belief that the numbers are significantly down. That being said I took my largest archery deer in 3c in 2010 and because of the wallow fire I took my largest rifle deer in 2011 in 1 (you can see a long ways just after a fire). Here are the current permits issued and the ones issues in 2009 2009 deer permits Hunt No. Season Dates Notes Open Areas Legal Wildlife Permits 1000 BONUS POINT ONLY — See page 17 (No other hunt number may be chosen in conjunction with this one). 1001 Oct 23 - Nov 1, 2009 1 Any antlered deer 260 1002 Oct 30 - Nov 8, 2009 2A, 2B, and 2C Any antlered deer 80 1003 Oct 30 - Nov 8, 2009 (26) 3A and 3C Any antlered deer 300 Hunt no. Unit 1/3b fire

I feel very comfortable in saying that deer hunting has gotten worse from before the wallow fire to now in unit 1. I also believe that elk and deer for what ever reason is less now in 3c than its hay day ten years ago from the rodeo fire.
