Starting to monsoon in the afternoons. This bull is a bit off a walk to get to. He may be safe till then.

Oh yeah. I found a bull you may be interested in for your muzzy hunt, depending on how he finishes. I left the sd card in the camera.

Alot of the time a watermark and bragging rights for their social media pages.

No worries, different viewpoints and opinions are a good thing. With modern hunting and long range shooting specifically, it changes the nature of the hunt and the pressure to the wildlife. I think a traditional muzzleloader season and taking one step further a traditional archery season in place of some of the existing hunts would be a good thing. It would actually bring hunting back into the scope (no pun intended) and not just long range target practice that hunting is trending to.

I think he is speaking on the perception of the situation. It seems the 20 or so guys that are board members of most organizations get a lot of good tags.

I'd like a primitive muzzleloader season. Squaring points imo is the hunting equalivant to inflation.

Good luck! My hunt kicked my butt! This is how it will go in a nutshell. 95% Boring 1% excitement, 4% pain

This will likely be the last time for a significant amount of leftovers, so changing the system now would not do much.

its been my experience that all show low/claysprings/heber Owens have some sort of relationship. haha

I think the owens' (plural) that took a couple of million from show low FD, are ahead of Blake in the aspect of name tarnishing.

With all due respect, the process has been the same way for over the last thirty years. So stop whining
-
Judging by all the comments I'm seeing on Facebook about Blake. He accomplished his goal and got the attention he desired.

picked up a used 54 CAL TC. Percussion. Shoots great. I was cleaning it with the wood ram rod and the metal aperture fell off in the barrel. Any ideas on how to get it out? Im thinking putting some glue on the wood end and placing inside of the aperture.

Generally speaking, The mountains have coues, the flats and rolling hills have muleys.

I do. Right now I'm planning a 5 day archery back pack hunt, taking a drug mule trail from the border 26 miles north.

UPDATE. I took off the nipple and filled it with powder. After the third attempt of increasing the amount I got it out! Cleaning jags fly pretty straight.
