The first kitty I ever saw had 3 young ones with her. So I guess I am in the 4 at 1 time club too. Unit 31 about 15-17 years ago. Couldn't believe my eyes. They were perched on an outcropping glassing just like I was. The 3 Kittens were big too, so She had to be killing alot of deer to feed 4................BOB!

I think too many people in AZ. anymore for open archery tags. Ruins it for guys antelope hunting ,and elk scouters. You wait along time to get those tags and to have a archer who is gonna shoot a spike or forkhorn would suck. Needs to be a limit or only tags where no other hunts are going on. Just an opinion, I know archers won't like it, but to dang many people in Az. any more.................BOB!

Neat loooking river. I cross the Yellowstone over here before it hits the Missouri river and it is huge. Lottsa good fishin too, just never done it. I was surprised how wide it is . Nice stuff..............BOB!

Here is a photo a buddy sent Me of the last Bull I took in 1996 in unit one. He came off the Rezervation and had a easy 80 yard shot. Thats what I got to beat with My unit 10 Rifle tag next month.Iv'e said on here before what He scores. What do You guys think. Any guesses.Even My son just said , wow You wern't fat and didn't have grey hair. Thats the difference of 40 years old versus 59 in 3 weeks. 2 weeks in Az. with an early rifle Bull tag is a good birthday present. Spent My 50th in unit 7 alone on a Antelope hunt. Buddy came up the next day . Good Bday Treats Ha Here's to old times and hope I can get a biggie this Year. That is the only Bull I have killed. Passed up many and missed a whopper in New Mexico................BOB!

Mocha1545 summed it up . This is the best site for hunting. I think the sheer number of people in AZ. helps quite a bit. All the boards and sites up here in the north Just don't have the population. And up north here they don't understand the art of glassing and tripods or they could kill some bigger animals.................BOB!

Just got back home from 4 days in the oilfield. God that place is depressing. Back to Elk. Is My Bull in unit 10 done growing. Are the rubbing yet. Wish I was there to scout . 4 more weeks and I am there. Anybody seeing toads in 10? Yes I will check out the Big BO.............BOB!

I got a couple buddies helping Me that know 10, I have never been there. What should My expectations be? They know it pretty good , I will just tag along and glass and shoot.............BOB!

Was scored at 330 and change officially. Pine donkey wins or he remembered a post from a while back.. Had no fronts.Average mass,51 inch beams fair backend ,but 12-13" fronts killed him. 19 years later I now know what I'm looking at so bigger shouldn't be a problem. ? is how big. What is left in unit 10? We shall see. Thanks Guys.......BOB!

the tripod head in the last pic is a great deal If it comes with that top adpt. I have used the same one for 22+ years and no problem. a little on the heavy side but very stable.........BOB!
