When I used to hunt pigs the old green circe would work on getting them to run ya over most of the time. First time a buddy ever did it I was amazed. After shooting with a rifle at 40 yards they would come back and do circles around us. Good time for sure. Hope the leg heels..........BOB!

Iv'e killed as many Turkeys without decoys as with them. Give a choice one way or the other I would hunt without them. You sound like a Turkey ,if they are hot they come running in regardless. Plus some have been educated by decoys ,see them and walk the other way. Some times it makes them curious and they come in but I say only 30% of the time or some where in that range..Just my experience of 25+ years of hunting them. The only time I don't like it is real windy, I can't hear em, but they can hear You. Good luck.........BOB!

I aint been to the White MTN'S in over 5 years since I left town. The Whallo fire happened right after I left. Gonna make me sick to see 1 and 27 all burned up. Those are my 2 fav. units. Turkey honey holes burned up. I'm sure their back by now by now(the animals) but the beauty of the forrest isn't gonna be there. .I hope to go up and help a buddy and shed hunt some..I won't be Turkey huntin it for a while. Hurley has no players and not his recruits. Give him 2-3 years and He will have Sean Miller sweating more. Sean can recruit ,but I'm starting to wonder about his coaching in the big time. Just when the kittys get hot they let u down. I said at the beginning of the season they don't have a leader or that to go guy down the stretch. It showed again last nite. They might not make the sweet 16. Depends on the draw they get in the tournament. Just think if they didnt lose them guys early to the draft how bad azz they would be. At least here You can Fish or get out and scout Your hunting areas and enjoy it. I recently spent allmost 5 years in North Dakota. Talk about getting deppresed in the winter. Temp down to -30 ,Wind chills to -60. Now I'm gone and this winter aint been as bad up there. I would work and stay inside when not working. And yes ,guess what they do drink a lot up there. Yotebuster on this site lives there but has a good buss. Big family farm to hunt and is from there. He's probly used to it. We are truely blessed down here, and I don't care what they say about Summers here. In Summer you still do pretty normal life . Cut grass ,Yard work. Golf ,swimming.ETC. Being away from here makes You realize What You have in this great State. And now the oil field its bust up there, I'M glad I came back when I did. About the only thing I liked up there was closeness to Montana and Wyoming for hunting. Here tho We have New Mexico, Mexico ,and Colorado all next door. Go outside and look at the blue sky, the mountains and don't put the 10 layers of clothes on. Enjoy ARIZONA..............BOB!

Our system isn't to bad, but they should give you the flexibility to buy a points for 5-6 months like Wyoming does. What about the guys that forget to put in or didn't have the $ at the time. G & F coulmake a little more $ that way to probly. And charge a little more if You buy it later........BOB!
