The problem with an older truck is they can break down anytime anywhere. Like me yesterday. I was at Morman Lake and my truck wouldn't start when I woke up in the Morn. $300 to get towed to Flagstaf and $485 to get starter installed. Lost a quick $800 but have no payments. IF that happened in Phoenix I would have paid 3 to $400 .Just put alternater Battery and belt.,on We were pounding on it to no avail. allthough I was with a Buddy in a new 60k truck 8 years ago and we broke down in that one too,so it can happen to both. We were below the rim and He got towed back to Scottsdale .Charged it to Ford as it only had 10k miles on it. It is nice not having payment,but just save $ for that ocasional breakdown...........BOB!

I quit buying new trucks when they hit 30k ,a 95 F 350 crew cab .My last new one. That has enabled Me to Hunt all over the country. My Dream hunt ,I got it this Nov on the Kaibab late hunt west with Dwayne Adams. Doesn't get much better than that...........BOB!

I ended up going to 6A and playing around no fishing Thanks .........BOB!

I was up in Morman lake area for 3 days and a guy from there said Bulls are good as ever. In the lake there is only 1 keeper from what I could see. Saw nice herd of Bucks at dark in 6b. One was great ,2 were good ,and a few dinks. Dodn't see enough bulls to really tell...Good Luck Archers................BOB!

Just got done talking to My DAD in ERIE ,PA. on the phone. Telling Him I drew the world famous Kiabab deer tag, The late one.He taught Me to hunt at age 8 or 9. He will be 98 in Sept. We talk about 3 days week. He couldn't believe I will be 62 in Sept. also. I said You never know when Your last great hunt will be. He agreed and we talked about the old days. So blessed to still have Him to talk to at that age. After We hung up I shed a teer.. I can only hope I live as long and as Healthy as He has.Its unimaginable at my age and His that He is still around to talk to. Am i a weakling for dropping a teer or just feeling blessed? I will dedicate this Hunt to Him .Everyone out there if You can still hunt with Your DAD enjoy every minute of it.Iv'e got one of the top notch Helpers on the Hunt so It should be fantastic ....BOB!

I am going regardless. I have a buddy who has a 13a rifle tag, drew with 15 points and wants to turn it in. He is 55 and may not draw for 10 to 15 years with max. Do You Guys think that is good or not. I say hunt. You could be dead or crippled by then .......BOB!
