OH! I forgot to add that early bull tag I had in 96 I drew with only 3 points...LUCKY ME...............BOB!

11 Points is my magic #. I drew late 12 A West with 11 2 years ago, and 3 and a half Years ago I drew a Goulds Turkey tag with 11 points. I drew a early rifle Bull tag in unit 1 in 1996 with over 6k applicants for 50 tags. My daughter drew an early rifle bull tag about 15 years ago when She was in college at ASU ( GO DEVILS ) with only 4 points. So it can be had. Just gotta play the game. I hunted outta state a lot and Mexico 5 times in the mean time. so I could still hunt. Good Luck in Future tags Guys, Keep at it.....................BOB!

This is very true, I forgot about these Guys. You read alot on nationwide websites ,people talking about going to AZ. in January for the rut and to get out of nasty weather. They are taking our deer and its a cash cow for Game & Fish. All though probly not to many kill coues cause they don't know w to hunt them!.............BOB!

Yup I remember when there was a zillion Coues tags . You could always get a late hunt too! 36's had a ton of tags leftover. Now to many people put in there Grandma There aunt and cousins and kids that don't care about hunting. That and simple fact that arizona Population goes up 100K every year. I know it well . Had a cabin in Vernon in the 90's. I went on My own and put a lot of leather on the ground back then. It took me 3 years to call in My first Tom , and Kill Him. I only hunted the Fall a couple times . Its tougher I think. I would not find birds in the same places they were in the Spring for most part. I earned My wings the hard way( no pun intended) I have killed many birds there. I was lucky in the Draws and got like 18 out of 20 years ,Spring tags at one time. The Fall is fun, the Elk are still Buglin and you see some deer,and its squirl season I believe! I will probly warm up later ,but I would say find acorns and water and drainages! THey are in the Junipers too, But I like to hunt in the Pines and Aspen. Take a couple trips and even driving around You generally see them. Then You know they are using the area . I will give You some specifics later. Its early. You will have Fun I learnt it on my own and You will too with a little time their. I have turned several guys on to it and got them hooked on Turkeys. Its a Blast...................BOB!

Same here. IDGAF, they are the Osceolla in Florida. I had a hunt booked this year but the covid came up and my flight got cancelled. I might drive there next year ,Got friends there I can visit all over the State. I need that one to accomplish my Royal Slam. Good luck on drawing a tag here. Kev , that plan to go back East and make it work didnt materialize. Thank God . I couldn't live in Youngstown ,Ohio. My new Friend , I grew up with in PA. ,has the same name. Mark time to enjoy life. I will be 64 in 2 months. Have had way to many buddies pass on right after retirement or before. Iv'e worked since I was 15, time for fun . Going thru divorce now after 39 years is tough ,but I been hanging with a Gal I have known since kindergarten. Beautiful Lady and smart too. It will be a work in progress but I think in the long term I can capture Her. Last wife hated me hunting all the time. Buying some new Golf clubs too. Dad went to 98 last year ,but You never know. Well, I Didn't Get Kaibab either. I thought tag # 45 was low enough too. Got 2nd choice 20B and being retitred now I will take My time and hopfully find a BIG one. Good luck all.................BOB!

Mine says tag # 45. I put in in late Kaibab 1st choice with only 2 points. I couldn't get that lucky ,Could I? 2nd choice was 20 b so thats what i been thinking I drew. but there are 75 tags on Kaibab, so I am keeping up my hopes till I see for sure Results................Pray for Me everyone!
