I generally won't do that till after I kill. To old now and won't be able to hike to far if needed. But it was just Turkey and Iv"e killed a bunch any way . A good Deer hunt or Elk,Lope its just a 2-3 beer nite.

About 7 years ago hunting Turkey it was so windy on Saturday we came back to camp. 3 guys were now camped close by so we visited. Well We drank quite a bit with them that nite. Didn't get up to hunt sun. morning cause way to much booze. We were camped rite on a river where I had killed birds. It's lite out now and a gobble wakes Me up rite outside the tent. Gun was in truck unloaded. By time I got keys and dressed and got to truck the gobble got farther away. By time I got gun loaded couldn't locate bird no more. They come down to get a drink and go back up the hill rite away. My buddy never did hear them. One time I wish I didn't drink... Guess it even'd out some what as I had killed two easy ones there before. Have one of them mounted..............BOB!

I have hunted 23 in N. Mex. for Muleys and Coues. I have found a few descent pockets of Coues. My question is , is the Burros that good or has it been hit by drought too? I have heard of Guys posting they had a Burros tag and didn't see squawt . What is it better for? coues or Muleys? Thanks...........BOB!

It is luck. I drew early rifle Bull in 96 with 3 points. I drew 16a bull rifle tags the first 2 times i put in for New Mex. 10 years ago, best tag in the State . Gotta play to win. ...............BOB!

I am sitting on 20 as non-res. points for elk . Left Az. as Res with 18. I been waiting forever. Watched My kids grow up and leave the nest its been so long. Couldn't afford lifetime lic. before I left. Came to N. Dakota to make $ cause AZ. got ridiculous to try to make $. Still to many Illegals keeping wages low there forever.. Been like that forever. OK I'M done venting. Not trying to be Racist but we all know its true........ BOB!

Coach ,I agree with You 100%. I have not put in for New Mezico since they started making You buy a license. I had hunted there about 10 years in a row before that.............BOB!

I drive truck for Power Fuels, Now known as Nuverra. They bus us from Minot to Stanley, then we drive our trucks from Stanley to where ever. Mostly Newtown area to Watford and north almost to Canada. been in Williston 4-5 times working. My # is 701-500-9845. I work nites. Leaving for work now. bus leaves at 5pm. Nuverras main office is in Scottsdale. Hope to tranfer some day but the pay is much better here. They pay us to ride the bus too..........BOB!

Jim , good to see Your still around. I just paid $580 for Montana deer tag. They call it a Deer combo tag. It lets You hunt small game and fish too. Its a rip unless You have time to do it all, but I really enjoy the deer hunt. If I wasn't up here making the big bucks in the oil field, I wouldn't do it................BOB!

I know outfitters are getting up to 3k for Mexico this year so $3500 is a good deal here with all the time You get. Good luck Mark!...........BOB!

Yotebuster, seems to be alotta Jakes this year which is good for next year,But i want that longbeard. The ranch I hunt 2 guys killed toms opening day . I didn't hunt til 3rd week. Passed several Jakes. Then on a new property I found a flock just over a knoll. Didn't come in right away and I wasn't waiting cause tired of the ticks so I ambushed em .2 Toms were facing away from Me , I had one second to make up My mind so I just shot the one on the right. Turned out to be a jake. Bummed Me out but thats life. Might try to go end of season coming up but Wife is gettin tired of me bringing home ticks. I aint thrilled either. Kinda sucks. A gain congrats on Your Tom..........BOB!

3K aint chit. There was a guy that paid 120k for the Elk tag and didn't go the last weeks of the hunt. Said He had back problems. If I had that kind of $ I would of found a DR. with meds or a needle. I know that was just a status thing with him and his buddies. This was about 6 years ago. He should of at least donated it if it was possible...........BOB!

I had 2 of these personally. A 1995 bought new, put, 350k miles on it. A 1996 got off a buddy with 120k on it. I just sold it last summer with 354k on it. They last . You Guys with Dodges and Chevys if You want a good truck , Here's one for Ya!..... BOB!
