I just got home to North Dakota last nite, after 6 days at a buddies house in Wyoming. Only hunted 2.5 days. I killed on day 2. His Brother missed a nice one on day 3, but they got a month to hunt yet. He has had a lope tag every year since 1973. I had 1 tag in AZ. in 25 years of putting in. If You guys are tired of waiting to hunt AZ. get a tag up there. We were in a good unit but not one of the top units. 9 points was max, I had 7. I would of never caught up to max in My life at 58. The one I shot scores 75-76. About the same as the one I killed in AZ. 8 years ago. Every one should do Wyo. once. The amount of Animals is incredible. I will post pics after dinner. Gotta figure it out ,My son that does it for Me left for AZ. yesterday. Spent a day in Montana on the way back scouting some new Mulley areas. Was worth it. Saw some good Bucks. Pics soon hopefully..................BOB!

One more thing. The view You see is what I saw. Would You have shot him. I was in a good unit. Not one of the top units. Bases looked good and good prongs , just not great up top. That was one of the best seen in the area this year. I was happy. You won't offend Me if You say no ,i would of held out. I had upto 3 more days to hunt. Thanks............BOB!

My buddy from Casper mailed it to Me today.He wanted Me to wait till it got up. I don't like to wait. My buddy walked to the truck to get something and He heard a shot. Right in the neck from the view You see. 200+ down hill. No Helicopter involved. LOL. Most Guys like to wait till an animal gets up. Not Me. My Dad always took neck shots and I seem to be following suit. I would say 6 of my last 7 animals have been in bed or neck shots. Thanks to My buddy Cliff Clark in Casper. for the help finding Him and putting up with Me for 3 days of hunting. Deer this year in Wyo. Time to cash in some more points (7)..........BOB!

As a kid in Pa. I chased little leppracauns thru the woods.as I got older in my teens , I started chasing girls thru the woods. Boy could they run. Eventually I went to chasing animals.........BOB!

Bless his soul. My dad is almost 95 and i know time is limited . They don't make em like that any more. Living thru the great depression and WW II is something none of us can imagine. Sorry for Yor loss of a Great Man......BOB!

Wow ,Sad news............BOB!

I gots 20 for Elk ,but nobody knows me. I am up here in the arctic. 16 were as res. and last 4 non res. that will do it with early rifle bull. I better draw this year. I'm commin home to stay in Sept. one way or another. Warning to all Arizonan's, don't come to North Dakota and work in the oil field. It will ruin You for life even tho you make great $. There are scum here from all over the country and top that of with all the inbreds from up in these northern states. WOW. I had enough 4+ years. Some one from Az. rescue Me.......LOL,,,,,,,,,..BOB!

I also think technology has something to do with quality going downhill. Cameras,range finders, long range shooting.. Just using 15 power binos has helped me find alot more animals since I first got them 20 years ago.If 20-30% of hunters use them thats alot more animals and quality being found and killed.........BOB!

There were more animals + now there are 2-3 million more people in the State, and some hunt. Harder to get tags too..........BOB!

I drew My first choice. Unit 51 Spring Turkey in North Dakota. Kinda nice with Turkey here its pretty much a gaurantee.Just put in 2 and a half weeks ago, there draw is quick as there are only a few people in the state. And they only let residents put in. Now if I can get that dang Elk tag in AZ........BOB!

Yotebuster, the area I hunt by Carpio and Dony Brook both had Cow Moose hanging out last 2 years. Kinda cooll.. Found one nice deer shed last year by Creek bottom.....BOB!

Its so Friggin cold here, You don't even wanna think about going Turkey hunting. C'mon mid April.......BOB!
