Thats all we need is a bunch of people who's political views screwed up their state to the point they want to leave it so they come over here and make the same ridiculous decisions expecting different results. -

I will second the 75" -
I went for a quad ride the other day with me wifey and she spotted 3 brownies and 2 whites. The brownies were 5 & 6 pts and the whites were both broken. I finally redeemed my self by finding the match to a 6 she found and spotting 2 bulls on the hoof. She wonders now how I go out and can't find squat but she finds these in a couple hours and I have to say I see her point. I guess I am blessed to have a good lookin' wife that is a shed magnet. Has this happened to anyone else?
-
Here is the PIC finally. Sorry for the wait. We didn't keep the two white ones.
-
Holy Crap!!!!!!! That's definitely a keeper. I suppose you couldn't catch him to wrestle the sheds off!!

I can shoot constant groups from any of my rifles, my bow, and my leatherman, although the constant groups are rather large and sometimes it is difficult to locate the arrows and the leatherman. LOL I thought about doing that with a pistol also but I don't think I am capable of shooting that far. Good luck in your endeavors.

Thats awesome!! I shot a 92" 3x3 down in 36B one year and while I was crossing the canyon to find him, I found shed of him as well. It was no more than 100yds from where I killed him.

Does anyone know why NM did away with bonus points, made 3 archery hunts, and made the Gila units ES tags? Just wondering

Once again we are a target of the AZ Government
105Coues posted a topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Fellow hunters, Once again the state of AZ is trying to pry a little more money out of our pockets. Rep. Weiers (Glendale) has sponsored HB 2443 which is another attempt at creating a $50.00 per year, per ATV or motorcycle to legally ride it in the state of AZ (other than private land of course). He claims this is “one of the best things” he can do for the state. Currently 0.55% of the gas tax flows into the Off Highway Vehicle Recreation fund which amounts to 2 million a year. Seventy percent of which goes to the AZ State Parks and 30 percent is used by the Game and Fish dept. I wasn’t even aware the state parks condoned ATV riding in them. It must pay for the no OHV signs they post everywhere! I guess the government view is the lands do not belong to the people anymore unless they pay a user fee. There is already a fee to just to legally enter state trust lands. We all know that the $50.00 per year is just a starting point to test the water and it radically increase over time as did the AZGFD tags and licenses. The following is from the bill: C. A person shall not drive an off-highway vehicle on roads, trails or routes unless they are posted open or drive on any roads, trails or routes if driving is prohibited. How many roads or trails have you seen that were posted OPEN? The following is a link to the article with more info: http://www.azdailysun.com/articles/2007/01...127_news_17.txt Next is the legal: http://www.azleg.gov/FormatDocument.asp?in...lls/hb2443p.htm And finally someone to send your comments too. There are a lot of them but if you copy and paste it doesn’t take long. http://www.azleg.gov/memberRoster.asp?Body=H We need to stick together to at least limit the abuse and corruption. -

I can see the need for a license plate requirement to report violators and I believe the party responsible for enforcement should be getting the money from the existing gas tax. However, laws can be changed and money reallocated from AZ state parks to G&F without making an additional cash cow. It really pisses me off seeing the lawbreakers on atv's tearing it up knowing they are screwing things up for me and my family, but a blanket a**whooping of all the users is not the answer I would choose. -

FYI---This is not the Copper sticker program. That program failed so this is another attempt -
Call them what you want, illegals, terrorists, UDA's. Bottom line is our Homeland security is a joke. These people are trashing our country and we are picking up the tab for their welfare, medical, housing, & kids to go to school and drag down the public education system. It makes me sick to see what they are doing to the awesome country of our state. It really makes you wonder why our politicians are so corrupt at every level of government. I work for a major AZ company and they are even hiring them by using labor contracts to do skilled labor. The local rural law enforement lets them go when they catch them because the Border Patrol won't come and get them. I am related to more than one cop. I recently read some statistics of the imprisioned ones in one of the southern AZ counties and I wish I had kept them to pass on. The average number of arrests for each one was 8. I wonder how many strikes they get.

Hey Buddy, can you spare some change?

I wish you the best and completely understand you about AZ changing. I have already moved from southern to northern AZ but I fear as time goes by it will not be far enough. -
Ballistic tips and my 300WM rock for whitetails. They do blow up some meat at close range but a little meat is better than no meat at all. Most of my shots are at extended ranges . I recommend fast expanding bullets because WTY's are not very thick and at extended ranges these bullets do not just punch a pinhole through them. I took a guy out who shot a buck at 411 yds right through the lungs with a 308 and the bullet didn't expand. It was a 165 bullet. We recovered the buck with a 308 diameter hole right behind both shoulders but it was sad to watch because after the first shot it went in the bushes for 5 min or so before expiring. Seemed like an hour. Think high power calibers with light bullets if you are taking extended range shots.
