Great job! Pack more water next trip, I got thirsty reading your story!
-
Crud, I would almost buy this as a back-up bow for my back-up bow!

A .357 mag should do fine on most black bears at 10 yards.

Jealous. I am guilty of coveting my neighbor's..... ...spring archery bear tag!

Love buffalo meat!

Look authentic to me.

I have a couple of older used tree stands for a total price of $30 or $15 a piece. One is a heavier steel base, while the other is a lighter alloy base. Keith 480-231-4654.

Sorry for the late notice. BUT, if anyone wants to tag along for a one-day or half-day pig hunt in unit 33 tomorrow (1-18), give me a call. Safety is asking me to take someone with me. There are deer there, so you can come along to chase deer as well. Give me a call if seriously interested, rather than post on the site here. First come, first served. All I need is one. Keith 480-231-4654. Thanks.

Almost spooky! I read your post and thought it was mine! The EXACT same thing happened to me last week in 33, but with one odification! Six in the herd and a sow with two red piglets presented and walked right past me.

Well, I was not too certain if I would get my lights up this year, but they are up and running! So, I am willing to host another informal --come when you want, leave whenever you feel like it--CWT gathering at my place on Saturday, December 19th. I will provide hot cocoa to drink and marshmallows and hotdogs to roast over the fire pit. Hopefully, Santa will pay the event a visit at 8pm. Will be showing Polar Express outside on the garage door with a computer projector. Kid and family friendly event. 4904 W. Boston Street, Chandler.

Actually, those two are genetically shorter men who stand in around 4 foot a piece. Heck no!!! Those Alaskan brownies get quite large, and a vintage photo like that can really show you what size of beasts once existed and probably still do in remote areas. Very nice!!

You are turning into a coues magnet!!

Sweet deal!!

Spring bear hunting will drive you nuts@!

Jared and Bradley, Congratulations! I bet you would trade off tagging those four elk for one predator called tagged bear! That day will come. Until then, I am proud of your dedication, glassing, stalking, and shooting skills.

Looks like bear scat, but awfully small based on your hand size.

It is ok to feel selfish now and then! Great job!

True. If they can't here you calling, they can't come join you for dinner. Boots on the ground calling long ridge lines to hedge your bets.

The first of many more to come!

Great job, and another heap of sugar on Big Brown's model character!!!

Totally awesome color! Any more details to your story? Spot and stalk, calling, sitting water...

Dreams do come true! You never know when they will come to fruition, but when they do, it is sweeter than one ever imagined! I'm proud of your dedication Lonne and congratulations on some great meat and a color phase chocolate bear!! P.S., you can still sneak out and tag another this year, but on state land to feed your addiction!

What a lovely bear! And I am so proud of you for sticking to the calling! Foxes always seem to be the number one interloper when calling for bear...but when you finally watch one silently approaching, it is PURE MAGIC! Congrats again!!

It doesn't get any better than wrapping your tag around a quarry you have relentlessly pursued...except perhaps wrapping piece of bacon around one of its tenderloin medallions!!!!
