    37b HELP

I have found them hanging out in some of those cement wash underpasses that cross underneath the highway in certain locations. I call them border pigs.

    37b HELP

My buddy glassed up some pigs about 8:30 yesterday morning and they were moving! I chased them until about 11:30am, when another hunting group took two shots and very likely two pigs out of that herd, since the sound was made by two different rifles. So, that herd can't be thinned any more or I would help you out with them. Did some calling on the way back and took a fox at 51 yards. Pigs are all over in 37B. Your glassing should be productive.

Hunt Buddy for 37B on Saturday

I am going up Saturday for a day-long javelina hunt in 37B. If someone wants to come along, I am heading out east on the 60 towards Superior. Four eyes are better than two. I have a spot that was productive last year. PM me if you want to come along. Leaving around 5:15AM from Chandler.

Hunt Buddy for 37B on Saturday

Norteno, I used the D350 on January 1st and it performed flawlessly. At this stage in the game, the field will be crowded with multiple hunting parties, if it is anything like it was last year, and pigs will be "on their toes" making for a tough stalk. I am packing a rifle and plan to do a little bit of calling and hope to bring in a big cat.

    Got some bear questions

Another method is to still hunt based on sound. Bears are noisy eaters -breaking branches when climbing trees to get at acorns or snapping manzanita bushes. Work your way VERY slowly if you know they are feeding in an area and listen intently. Stop OFTEN and for longer than just 30 seconds. Move as soundlessly as possible and listen for them tearing apart logs, rolling rocks, etc. It can work!

FREE MEDICAL STUFF TO SOMEONE in need!

I will throw in a "walker toilet" if anyone needs it. Basically, it has a steel tubular frame, just like a walker, and it has a portable potty in the middle of it. Good for elderly or lazy guys watching football games.
  12. I have a case of 350 rounds of 9mm 115 grain FMJ ammo boxed in sets of 50. Will not split. Entire case for $100. Near Chandler Fashion Center. Keith 4802314654.

I love the picture of your daughter struggling to hold up that cat!

    LION Down!

..had to check this post out again... The lions on my wall just shrunk by 20%... Your cat is BEASTLY and fat! Dissect his stomach and see what is in there!
  16. Maverick351, maybe I hijacked your thread and asked for "shares" between us!
  17. Hey, I did call out first dibs in the initial thread, but also noted that I live in Chandler. If it was Phoenix, I would be all over it!

    LION Down!

That thing is a BEAST!!!! Super cool hunt! Nice little bobcat, DADDY!!!! Spectacular!!
  19. Nice story. Did you inspect the bear's body for cause of death? Any bullet wounds, arrow slices, claw marks, or fighting bites on it?

    Son's first Javelina

Nothing like the strain of lifting a heavy pig for a picture! Sweet job!
  23. I have eaten a half-dozen bears and have used their meat in just about every culinary way possible and have had zero problems. Cook your meat to 165 degrees F and all the worries regarding Trichinosis vanish. Bear is my favorite meat of all, and yes, I will drive about anywhere in the state to pick up your unwanted bear meat after you tag one!

    Big Tom Bobcat

..now that CWT is helping connect hungry hunters to utilize game meat, I did check the box saying that I love bobcat meat! So next time you bag a nice bobcat and skin it, give it a quick gutting and throw it in the freezer for me!

    javelina meat

This is exciting. I feel like I am filling out the boxes on a G&F big game depredation application! Species willing to eat: bear, javelina, elk, deer, antelope, bobcat, and lion. Skulls willing to accept for educational purposes as a science teacher: any of the above mentioned species along with fox and coyote. I will even take raw skulls too. I am trying to get up to six skulls of each species for my lab groups. I live in Chandler and work in Scottsdale and drive through Tempe on my way to work.
