Can't get my favorites anymore, the Cabela's Trophy Series, been looking hard at the 10" Kenetrek Mountain boots, non-insulated. I like tall uppers, especially when there are cactus and shin-diggers around.

I have the Outback Lodge, same style as the Alaknak, and the Bighorn II, prefer the Bighorn as it doesn't have the center pole. My Outback Lodge has stood up to some pretty tough weather over the years, couple times it was the only tent standing after a big wind. Both are great 2 person camps with everything inside them.

get falling down drunk and wanting to hug.......... I hunt by myself, that way I'm the only one that can get falling down drunk in my camp.....

I have the Outdoorsman and the Bogen, I use the Outdoorsman model and whoever borrows my back up gear gets the Bogen

you can pick up some speed with tuning, reduce arrow weight, change fletchings and spend time with a chrono and the TRU Accelerator balls. I picked up 5 fps going to Blazers, and another 5 when I got the TRU balls in the right spot on the string. Had a friend help me, he's the one with the brains, to get the tuning correct before I started messing with the other stuff. Hoyt Vectrix, 30 inch draw set at 70 lbs and I am getting 285 - 290 fps after all the work.
