Oh ya I went back up for the last day and tagged my first turkey :-)

I was in the same situation in 2009 but it was my first turkey tag had an ultrasound everything looked good and that was the day before the opener wife was hesitant but I got the go ahead fast forward to sat mourning got to the trailer a seen a text from my wife at 7 am saying her water broke well its 10:30 am I dropped everything and headed home from young made it to banner at i10 and McDowell in 1 hour 55 min walk in to her room washed my hands and my first daughter was born made it with five min to spare I don't think she would have ever let me hunt needless to say I don't hunt fall turkey anymore cause my little girls birthday that is until she is old enough to go with me . Not trying to give you second thoughts but make sure you camp where you have service and good luck with your hunt

I actually have an archery tag 100 tags but I heard 5 people per 1 tag not too worried I plan on getting off the beaten path I have been up there scouting a few times and plan on a lot more closer to the hunt I have set a couple of cams as well, hopefully they are there when I go to check them I was amazed to see elk everywhere I went in the unit should be a fun hunt if successful it will be my first elk and archery kill I am not gonna set the bar too high I would be ecstatic about a 340 class bull thanks Jay best of luck to you and your hunters

I have a unit 9 tag and wouldn't pass on that bull

Surefire led with extra bulbs and battery's that's the only problem I have found is the battery's don't last too long
