Need gun identification
Rag Horn replied to MULEPACKHUNTER's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Very cool piece. I love the design engineering involved in some of those old guns. -
He won't break any tape measures..... but I would shoot him and not feel an ounce of regret.

I have installed and tested a lot of muzzle-breaks. I feel they all are basically the same in terms of "felt recoil" reduction. Some definitely have engineered designed advantages. How the gas ports are shaped and where they are on the muzzle-break. However at the end of the day they all kind of the same. I would pick the one I could live with the way it looked. Most of them are UGLY. Also I think I would try hard to not put one on. I am a muzzle-break hater too. I would definitely upgrade my recoil pad and try to get the best fitting stock I could afford before a muzzle-break.

So does that mean you have an opening in the non typical solutions service dog school? I need my dog service dog trained. Great dog. Great story.

I am not a lawyer. That being said I believe the app Kodi itself is not illegal. However people "sharing" content on Kodi might be braking copyright laws in the same way napster and limewire etc break copyright laws. I know about 8 guys from work who use Kodi. 6 have had a flawless experience. The other 2 have had their bank accounts hacked through crooks fishing through the app. In other words my tail of caution is to research how to set Kodi up and make sure you know what you are downloading through the app before downloading.

We ditched Direct TV about 2 years ago and I don't miss it one bit. I use Netflix, HULU, and a digital antennae for football on Sunday. Netflix has great kid show stuff.

Now that the shooter/fire bug idiot is no longer haunting through the forest I need to get up there and do a camera run. I hope to find a picture with a huge Bull holding a sign saying he would be right here December 1st. I don't think that's too much to expect.

Does he have a LinkedIn Profile? Might help find someone who knows someone. Can't think of anyone I know off hand but if he has a profile and somehow I know someone at a company he wants to work for I'll be happy to help where I can. -
^^^^^^ nice bull ^^^^^^

Sorry about the cams. It's disappointing on multiple levels, and there is really no solace I can offer except a digital shoulder to cry on.

Thanks!

If it's not too much to ask...... how and or where was this information accessed. It seems like something that is public information but I can't find it and am looking to be spoon fed this info. Thanks. The map from the original post wasn't contained with the quote but that is what I am looking for. Where that came from. If it's not public information I don't want anyone's private data connection.

FWIW I am really sorry your family was put in harms way. I am really sorry you are out money and don't have a fishing experience to show for it. I think we (myself included) have gotten really used to the wal mart return policy culture. The one where it's ok to use a product for a week decide you don't like it get buyers remorse and return it for a full refund. The wal mart, Nordstrom, and Amazons of the world have really conditioned us to think we as consumers have a lot of power because of their lenient return policies and such. However I think we give up more "rights" if you will than we ever know when we check the "terms and conditions boxes." It doesn't even have to be a legal document signed by a notary. Topic for another post but one example is by going to a pro sporting event you essentially waive rights to let the team use your image how they want to without your Consent. Billboards, magazines stuff they would have to pay people for they now can use for free because buy buying the ticket you agreed to. These Policies are there for the stores and business and they can legally excersize if they choose.

Very interesting economic/hunting/political/legal/ethical/historical dynamics surrounding that hunt I never knew existed. Regardless of which "perspective" you have on the OP's experience. I learned a lot and was educated on the myriad of intricacies involved in this particular tag.

Man good looking bulls!

I would like to say where am I but
Rag Horn replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in The Campfire
Those are Grand Canyon bulls. You can tell by the slightly elongated necks and darker tinted manes. -
I don't know about that I feel that something just passed about protecting the horses around the salt river. Maybe not all horses but at least those ones.
-
Are they protected like the group down by the salt river?

Whats the longest youve left an Elk in the field
Rag Horn replied to trphyhntr's topic in Elk Hunting
This has been an interesting topic to follow. At times I have felt like if I didn't shoot an elk standing in a walk in freezer and the guts out out, hide off and processed in 5 minutes the whole thing would be a waste. Interesting the seemingly very different experiences with meat spoilage. -
Yeah that is hole 6 at the Salt River Riviera Disc Golf Resort. Must have a certified level 8 repelling certification and life insurance policy to play there. If I remember right the Salt River Riviera Disc Golf Resort was named best Disc Golf Resort in "Disc Golf Digest" in 2013 and 2015. The new management group that bought it in 2016 hasn't been able to restore maintain the excellence it once had. The resort has slipped to number 8 in the rankings.

I don't "like this". Well the little fella in the pic seems happy enough. That's gotta count for something

119 is just as miserable as 124 might as well break a record and make it worth my suffering. Sky Harbor is the official score book for valley weather.
