Nice Bucks Brother!! I say brother because I want to be adopted in!!! -
I have a freezer full of elk and a deer that im not doing anything with. I have a bunch of ground meat, and several roasts, and quite a few steaks. I really dont know what is all there. I havent used half of it from when i got it all back from the processor. I also have an August Coues deer in there. What im looking to do is split it with someone that would jerky it up for me. You jerky it all and keep half of it. I have made Jerky with the ground meat with one of those extruder jerky guns and it turned out really good, but my dog ate the gun, and I dont want to spend the 35 to get another one. Its just alot of work and my wife hates the way the house smells for a week after im done. I would really like to have it done in a smoker. I dont have one and dont know anyone that does. Let me know if you would be interested.

Its in really good shape. Its been the best truck I have owned. Interior is clean, no rips or stains in the seats. Never been smoked in. It has 179k miles and is running strong. Just put new fluid in the rear end, has new alternator, power steering pump, battery is 2 months old, transmission was flushed about 7000 miles ago. Pioneer mp3/cd/ipod/satelite radio player. I would like to get around $7900 for it. Im in chandler on Gilbert and Chandler Blvd but work in Phoenix on 44th and Thomas and could meet you if you want to take a look at it. Will make donation to the site if sold from here. More pics on craigslist at: http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/2707760118.html

Im new at bowhunting too. All I can say is when you get a bow, shoot that thing alot. I set up a target in my back yard and had 20 yards to work with. I wasnt looking to get super long shots, just get my form down and be consistent with my shot. It sounds dumb but I got on youtube and watched some videos of guys and how they prefer to shoot, and what good form is and stuff. I diddnt really have anyone to teach me. It helped alot to see what good form was. Little adjustments to how I was doing stuff helped alot. Then you just get comfortable with shooting the bow and focus on the consistency from shot to shot. After you feel you have a good consistent group, then start with the longer distance shots. Theres alot of good places to shoot around the valley, and they just put in a free archery range on top of the landfill in Chandler. I was able to get a coues in August up in 27 and it was the most fun and exciting hunt ive ever been on.

I just got a new DPMS AR-15. Does anybody know anything about breaking them in? It has the chrome moly barrel. The guy at the shop told me to break it down and lube it all up before I shoot it. I am going to do that, but any other advice would be great. I have read a bunch of stuff about the breaking it in. Some people say clean after every shot for like 100 rounds. Others say just shoot it. I would obviously like to get as much accuracy out of it as I can. Anyone have any experiance with either process? Thanks!!!

Im sure nobody is reading this anymore, but i found a gun dealer in mesa that traded me straight up for it. I got a brand new DPMS A3. They sold it to me as a seperate upper and lower. If anyone is interested, they were on power and university. The Gun Depot If you go in there though, talk to Ron, the other older guy in there was a grump.

I have this Mini 14 that I set up for coyote hunting. Its an awesome gun, just a little too heavy for what im using it for. I have about a $1000 dollars in to the gun. It has a barrel sleeve that I got made for it by Van Horne in Mesa. After putting the barrel sleeve on, it will shoot 1" groups easy at 100 yards. It went from about 3" groups before the sleeve. I can hit the 300 yard squirrels at Ben Avery all day long. It is alot of fun to shoot, its just a little on the heavy side. I am looking to maybe trade for an AR-15. (maybe with one of you guys out there that has 3 or 4, and would be willing to part with one). Let me know what else you have, I am open to offers. Let me know if you have any questions.

My friend asked me to put this up for him. Its a really nice bow, I would buy it off him, I just dont have the cash. Send him a text if you have questions. It is set at 29" draw and 70 lbs. Jason, 480-305-3748 http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/spo/2110794929.html

I got the shooter app, but havent tried it with my guns yet. It does alot, and has a lot of cool features. I was out with some friends on an elk hunt last week and the night before opening day we were sitting at camp, and wanted to check the accuracy of the calculatoins that the app would produce. The rifles in question had been sighted in and tested out to at least 700 yards, with all the moa adjustments to go with it. I made sure to input all the different variables correctly. The muzzle velocities were all correct as well, as the rifles that were tested were shooting reloaded ammo with velocities that did not vary more than 15fps or so from eachother. On the 3 rifles that we were checking it with, none of the information from the shooter app matched what they actually came up with out at the range. It wasnt too far off at closer ranges, but naturally, as the target distance increased, so did the difference in data. I did not test this on my rifles with my loads, I just got the program, but I was hoping it would have matched alot closer than what it did. I would definately shoot with it at the range and make sure that it is accurate before trying to take it out on a hunt and confide in it. There is still a good chance the problem is me, and that im missing something. I am going to continue to play with it and get it figured out. I want the app to work, it does too many cool things. I thought for sure the math from the app would match exactly what they found out sighting in, but maybe there are more variables than can be calculated and accounted for?

A friend of mine is looking to get in to archery. He is a little short, and needs a bow with a 25" draw lenght. We might be able to get him in to a 26"(I know the options increase at 26") If you have one or know of someone who does, let me know. Thanks. Mitch

Im lookin for the same book, I have a buddy that just read it, and im gonna trade him when he gets back from his elk hunt
