Yeah this has been some shitshow. Even before the switch to the new system they started having issues. My truck renewal never came in April. So after it expired i went to third party and got it taken care of. They said it was because of my special plate. BS, never had the issue before. Then a month later my wife went down to get a street tag for the RZR. They gave her a temp plate. Two weeks later i get a new OHV tag that i already had. A month after that the street tag, a week after that a new plate. 3 weeks ago i received another plate. Just remember, the government knows whats best for us, even though they cant get us license plates or not run in the negative at the post office. Don't even get me started on those crooks.

Just makes me quieter, as long as I don't float away.

One of my buddies ended up with a shitton of brass. He says its about 20-25 years old once fired. I took a look at it yesterday and he has 6 full home depot buckets. From what I can tell 95% is federal 223 headstamps. None of it has been processed in any way. Does brass degrade to where you shouldn't reload it? 556 ammo is getting too expensive these days and if I could just buy what he has I can load thousands of rounds and eliminate my supply issues. I already have a supply of H335. I just need to track down CCI 41's and projectiles.

so I'm finally going to start building on my model 16 300 wsm. I already picked up a bell and Carlson target stock and found a deal on bottom metal for it. I picked up a vx5hd, but I'm shelving it and ordered a nightforce nsx. I'll be using it as is for this year's coues hunt, but after that I'll be ready to tear into it. To late in the year to make any major changes. Right now it shoots 167 grain bergers really well, but I have lost all confidence in that bullet. Of all the animals we have taken i have never seen any evidence of expansion. I would like to shoot a heavier round, but I dont want to give up too much speed. I'm right at 3160fps right now. I don't know much about working on bolt guns, so I'm sure I'll reach out to axis works to get this going. What would you guys recommend for a barrel, knob, and muzzle break? I was thinking about an atlas bipod, but if there are other suggestions I'd love to hear them. Looking forward to the input.
