I'm heading to 1 on the 10th. Do some last minute scouting and try to whack a deer. I read that I could pick up a turkey tag as well with this hunt. I need to go down to G&F and check that out.

No change for me this week. Skipped out on my work out friday as i was at the bow range from 10am till 430.

Exactly what I was thinking. All my boys started shooting around 7. Started out with 22's and .410's not sub machine guns. children and adults have no business firing those types of weapons unless they have been extensively trained to do so. Automatic and burst fire is a completely different animal then rapid firing a semi auto. That poor girl is going to have some rough years ahead of her.

I have a savage model 10 .243 my youngest will be using for his deer and stink pig this year. Its just a little too big for him. I'm thinking about cutting it down but I know the stock is hollow. Anybody ever done it before and if so what did you use to fill in the void and reattach the butt plate?

If it was a black cop that shot a white dude this never would have been on the news and there wouldn't have been rioting and looting in the street. Not trying to stir things up or anything but that's how it is. Sad that the news has to always play the race card.
