this is a lot like the problem I am having with my savage 116 in 300wsm. I have it narrowed down to the case right now. I just picked up some new norma brass, and it is not tight. Old brass is still tight. I have measured everything possible on both cases and they are the same. I just cant figure out what the deal is.

Got a cage from one of the kids critters that has gone off to Valhalla. Has a waterfall new dirt, moss, felt and some lizard stuff. If your kids need a new cage for whatever they have this is it. Asking $50 which is what the stupid waterfall cost alone. Wife says can trade for horns or hides.
