As you can see they work pretty good on mule deer size animals. I double lunged a mule deer buck with one. killed it not much blood. its hard to argue that the More acute the edge the sharper the cut the more blood. I think Montech broadheads and bull elk are probably the only thing that me and every elk guide agree on

From what I’ve seen and heard it’s the angle of the edge and not cutting well. With out a blood trail even a dead animal is hard to find.

It’s not hard to say. its either vented one or both lungs and suffocate them or caused enough blood loss to kill it. Or it didn’t

I’ve heard good things about elmers edge. the hybrid style broad heads are great in elk but you need high ke. Along as your shooting a heavy arrow faster than average you should be good ive killed bulls with grave diggers, slick tricks and shuttle t’s. I’ll be using a grave digger for my elk Hunt this year. The last couple bulls I hit with grave diggers died quick.
