so what, we just gave back part of mexico that we "stole" any way. i wonder how much bigger that highlighted yellow area is going to get before arizonans will stop being call racists? deerhunter we pay taxes so politicians (R&D) can give the cash to their friends to either push there agenda or to line up a job when they get thrown out of office. excuse me i mean "The public good"

i found a herd of antelope today. i counted about 67. 10 bucks, it seemed like 1/2 were fawns so i think that is a good thing. but i know more about rocket science than i do about antelope. these pic were digiscoped with high wind from 600-700yards. there were many mommas nursing multiple fawns. i watched them for about an hour. at first i was about 100y but while i was setting up my tripod they spooked.

ask and you shall receive.

Holster Suggestions for Springfield XDm, 9mm
oz31p replied to Jimmer Negamanee's topic in Handgun Hunting for Coues Deer
the best holsters that i have found are made by el paso saddlery. they are a bit pricey but they are hand made to your specs and youll only buy one for each gun for life. they are made custom to your model. on their web site most of the photos show a ssa but in the description they can be made for an auto. when im handgun hunting i carry a either a 1911 or a ruger super black hawk both in ep saddlery tanker holsters. i like the tanker style because they are always easy to get at, they dont interfere with a back pack like a hip holders do. ep saddlery -
its kind of a gray area you must be 21 to buy a handgun or handgun ammo but you can possess at 18. i like your quote luke

i guess. i bet that scope has a clearer picture that the tv does. we'll see how fast i can build my fund back up. thats the exact scope ive been wanting too, so it stings that much more.
-
i normally can get them pretty strait. plus this way i get to shoot a little more and i reload every thing i shoot. i would have got out today but we had a bday party for my daughter. mabey next weekend i can get out and atleast see if it will hold a zero again.
-
figures.... on wensday i wasted my scope fund on a new tv because mine when out. and now this for sale.
-
im hoping that its not permanently damaged. but ill have to wait and see.
-
i think i got the scope zeroed out in order to start over. the reason i say i think is a nikon prostaff 3-9x40 bdc has 80moa of adjustment. witch is 320 clicks total. i was unsure witch way i had went when i originally sighted it in so i went all the way up then all the way down. it has 420 all the way up to all the way down. i counted them 3 times. after my initial confusion i when all the way up and then 210 down. ill guess ill bring extra ammo when i try to re sight it in.

the rifle was empty pointing in the opposite direction with the bolt removed. i left it seated on the tripod to let it cool down a bit before i put it away.

im a pan head guy, but if you do like the pistol grip type dont skimp, get the outdoors mans. the bogen while well made and rock solid its much harder to squeeze after an 15 min of glassing your four arm will hit muscle failure, or youll wind up looking like popeye on one arm. on the other hand the outdoorsman is effortless. the only resone i bring it out is i would hate to see you get the bogen because of price and have to hire help to squeeze it all day for you.

if you glass sitting down the vortex high country is worth checking out. i pretty stable until you extend the legs. but for $70 and lightweight it works good. i do not like tall tripods. im short and i glass sitting indian style.
