I picked up a spot hogg real deal and a new doinker stab. So much better than the old truglow I was shoting. I coudnt fill my early cwt tag so I ll have dust off my 2010 archer deer tag from last jan starting dec 10th.

Its it a great deal. My buddy bought a set used for 400 about 3 months before they when on clearance. I used them on this las hunt

Ill do you one better. Before last years javelina hunt I bought a set of 10x42 vipers. My first set that cost more that $40. All always it was raining during the hunt so I had to wipe water away from the lens during the hunt. I get home and while cleaning my gear I I find a smal circular scratch one the eye piece. I merely made mention of it on another hunting forum. Withing a few hours I get a pm from a vortex employee/hunter asking me for my address. I give it too him. 2 days later a prepaid box arrives. I sent it in. 5 days later a brand new set arrives with their anit fog/ water repel kit. 7days total. Needless to say I've been a walikng vortex bill board. I feel a little bad as I told vortex that it was my fault and the scratch was so small it did not afect any thing. They told me it was afecting the clairity and was unacceptable for me to have a scratch on the lens. Since I feel guilty I have since bought there spotter, digiscope addapter and tripod.

Congrats. He looks good I think the easyest way to judge a trophy from a photo is by the hunters smile. And id say he's b&c for sure.

i use the viper 10x42 normally with a vortex high county tripod with a manofotto 128cr head i was using a promaster addapter. i like the set. its farly light. quite steady when sitting down. but is useless standing. i lost my addapter during this last hunt so i will ne getting the same one. i did use the viper 15x50s for 7 hours strait on opening moring and it worked flawlessly the only problems it gave me was it would only find does.

I'm content. I nearly had a shot at him from 125y standing broad side but for only about 4 sec. And my long range rig is a little acward off my knees. I'm still waiting so see that buck show up on here but I totaly for got to ask if they were members.

Where I hunted this year was my time hunting the area but I saw very few people. I did see a lot of them driving and glassing from the road. And like was sayed before people hiking in at 8 or 9. With coffee cups in hand. Though I did bump a nice buck right into some road hunters. I got scunked but I hunted hard for 5 days long hikes glassing all day no where near the road every day I was at a glassing spot well before sun up. Just goofy weather. But I'm proud of my effort and I had a blast. Those road hunter got that buck. I when over the them to meet them and check him out. He was bigger than the 109in dead head I found scouting

nice. every year i try to do a nice carving job. i always seems so easy to think i could do that. until your half way done and realize you need to go back to the store for more pumpkins cause these two are ruined. also dont for get after Halloween pumpkins go on sale for super cheap. and if you have hunts like you still have some frustration to unleash. i always have a few organic target shoots.

I've been loading and shooting a 180g accubond in a 300wm for 5years now. I've only shot a coyote and a mule deer but they fell dead. Give me 7 days ill show you some pic of what it does to a coues deer. About the same as what youngbuck sayed.

Par for the course. This may come out wrong but it seems like anywhere you go there are always a few "older gentlemen" that are knowitalls and are very rude. I do know that they are the minority as most I've learned about the outdoors or life for that matter has come gray hairs that were eager and willing to teach me. The archery range is still awsome

That 3rd unrelated guy is the same older guy with a jacket on.. Zoom in and look. I've been using a bushnell arc 1000. I have no complaints. it goes to. 1000 consistanly and accuratly. For balistlc programs the best I've found is a program called shooter but I belive it is only for smart phones. 1600y is pretty far. What cal is your rifle. 1000y is quite dificult, I can't imagine any cal of hunting rifle that constisant and accurate at 1600y. What scope are you using??
