Welcome to deer hunting. You will find most here are extremely knowledgeable in the ways of the whitetail. Normaly after ive scouted an area i zero in on particulat areas that ive seen buck during scouting. I will stay looking at the same ridge all day long. I may move a little to get a different angle(20-30yard make all the diferance). In the areas i hunt the bucks stay in the same small whether its a saddle or a cut or pocket. When they bed they are completely out of sight. But in my area they will only bed for 3-4the hours at a time.. so its important to keep glassing. Its easy to get discouraged and think "any thing out there i would have seen by now" but keep glassing and i cant stress that enough. And if you keep looking when they so get up to move to the cause the shade hasa moved or to nibble or walk few laps around the bush only to burrow back into it. And i mean burrow. Ive seen coues bed under trees in plain view down south but i hunt centeral and ive never glassed a bedded buck. I always find them as they are moving to reposition them selves. And plenty of times while scouting ive watched them nibble alittle and once they lay back down completely lose them , i know they are there but they are completely out of sight.

I under stand what your saying but Grivalja did not implment these policies alone. Although he fully suports. Them Grivalja seat in the house is not nearly as influencal as this vacant Senate seat. If you feel Grivalja is part of the problem consider who he endorses in this race. I am NOT trying to change your mind 1 way or the other But there are fundamental differences between the 2 candidates And if 1 day before the election you still don't have your mind made up I don't know how much help I can be. -
mabee we should keep saying it till some one listens.

Alot of coues deer have fallen to a 243.as for her flinch, with a rifle that heavy the recoil will be so minor her flich will surly go away afew just a few trips to the range. I speak bcause i have a very simular rifle and the recoil is next to nothing. Like a loud 22 mag

You'd be surprised the things I have learned through the years on this site. Some of these guys really do their homework on topics and it is always fun to get a feel for what they have learned. One thing I wonder about the rampant costs incurred at the hospital..........could it have anything to do with treating patients who are here illegally and not paying their bills?? I can understand that. But that should never be a substitute for doing your own research. Everybody puts their own spin on things Every person ever Network every candidat. But the fact do not take sides. As for your second statement which parties Policies have turned tucson into a sanctuary city? -

I will rephrase... I would rather shoot myself in the foot then vote for THAT Democrat. Flake is a tried and true fiscal conservative And yes I have done my research and I would not consider doing research for asking political questions on a hunting website. -

I dont know much about whats ethical to who or who decides what laws are ok and ethical and what laws are not but i do know that i shot a very small coues buck on opening day of the archery season. You'd have to try to find a smaller buck to ever find one smaller. I did it spot and stalk. Ive killed many deer big and small but hes by far the smallest and the buck im the proudest of, and dont care who does not like it.

Hes not a member so ill talk the story for him Well after filling an archery tag during August and dontating my 21 oct rifle tag my hunting partner still had his hunt. I felt that we had our area pretty well scout as he saw a few bucks during the archeey season and i had seen a few diferant bucks. Thw sunday before his hunt we made one more scouting day trip. We checked our normaly productive areas. At first light we were at our first glassing point is where i filled my 2011 rifle tag. We could not find any thing. We we turned back and when to glass the hill i had killed my 2012 aug archery coues. The deer i killed was with a fork and a huge 3x3. Well about an hour in we spotted them both together bedded about 100yards from where i killed mine. we were pumped. So we called it a day. Opening day justin had the fork and big buck in the same saddle for about 30 seconds before he crested the ridge. But about 10 minutes later he glassed a hunter walking that ridgeline right thru where the bucks had just crossed. He waited he rest of the day for him and he never came back. And he did not see any other bucks. Day two. I arrived in camp at 530. We made our way out to the same glassing spot looking for the big buck. Untill 11ish when i glassed to buck 1200yards down the ridge. He wanted the bigger of the group so we moved in on them. We used a small secondary ridge to block our approach. We crested the small ridge 250 yards from where we last saw the bucks. We glassed and glassed but there were a few thick spots we just could not see into. After 40 mins we decided we'd wait them out. So i layed down to take a quick nap. As soon as i drifted off i began getting hit by small rocks and i could hear"hey, hey, get up, i got them, there up." So we switch spots and i got behind my 15s while he got ready to shoot. We watched them polish there antlers for a min or so when they put alittle space between them i get justin the green light and he droped in his tracks. 244y. He was shocked that he droped him and asked "are you sure" to which i replyed " ya, dead, feet in the air, im sure.!". Just had about a mile pack out round trip and he packed in out whole. For his first deer hes still damm exited. -
