I have and use a FoxPro but when it comes to hand calls or mouth caLl I have a carvers calls rasbie rabbit that works just as good the only problems I run into is when it's super windy it doesn't reach out as far as I can with the fox pro

for me it is the quality of the hunt not the quality of the antler I would kill any legal buck with a bow regardless of what rifle tag I had drawn
-
Sounds scary but I'm glad d got it done. Deep down I was a little disappointed he was done before I could get up there.

I'll be trying to rattle in a buck this year. I'm not terribly optimistic. But I'll have a bow in my hand a tag in my pocket and for that I am thankful.

I too wish j would have started with a fox pro. But on a budget. If I could dobit over. Use a hand call and get good. Till you find a good deal on a used FoxPro. There have been a few good deals in the last few weeks in the classifieds.

Plus you never know who else will get some use out of it. I found out this year that during the early rifle whitetail season a man helped his special needs son kill a buck out of a blind I built in 2012.

I've eye balled it and the m-223. I've considered lossing the eotech512 and going with something like these. But I have always stayed with the eotech.

twice now ive wrote a nice detailed acount of my summer scouting and scouting 2days early solo while missing thanksgiving with my family to kill a bull that im damm proud of then hit the wrong button and lost it. im not doing it again. i watched this bull wensday morning thursday morning and thursday after noon putting him to bed. at 400y my first shot was at first lite just light enough to make sure it was him. my first shot my spotter though i hit him good but he was still standing so i chambered another in my t/c and send anouther. this time he dropped in his tracks. turns out my first shot hit him in the antler between his g2 and g3. i cant thank kevin(shedhunderaz) and jason(averagejoe) enough . between showing me around the unit last year and helping me pack out for 9hr this year with with out them id either be still out hunting struggling to turn up a bull or on my 6th solo pack out trip to the quad. either way im gratful my bull is with dale at wild heritage, the meat is at the butcher and i am home. he is a clean symmetrical unbroken 6x6. this is my bull thursday after noon while normal people were eating thanksgiving dinner

honestly I was a bit nervous because up to this point I had never hauled anything heavy in this pack and that morning I had accidentally forgot my frame pack at camp but this pack exceeded all of my expectations it looks too small and does not look capable of carrying out a full rear quarter but believe me I Carried a rear quarter and the rack out. The team elk pack did great.

wow. he looks like a monster.

that shed I found was about 50y from where my bull dropped.

Unit 25m Mulley's ? McDowell Mountain Preserve?
oz31p replied to andrewmilich's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
I saw deer a few weeks ago near troon highlands a few weeks ago. I though the preserve was off limits. But I could be wrong. -
If it were me(and it will be) I'd go all spot and stalk. 19a lends its self well to this style. During this time of year you should have a very action filled day in the hills. But I would not expect much action at a water hole except the immediate fight with the owner of the water hole.

I'm not a fan of the Jim white heads. I prefer a fluid head like the 701 or 128rc
-
Looks like they read the directions wrong and put the white on the wrong side.
-
Its not mine but it did give me a scare. I when through there after a little scouting this morning.

In was category?

Your best bet is auto safety house. There price is over reasonable. I don't have their number handy but Google it.
