Is a flier common with long rang Accubonds? I ask because I was doing load development on a 280 Rem with 150 lrab. They shoot great groups but always had a flier. I assumed it was too too light a bullet for my twist. I switched to a 162 and the issue cleared.

I'm backpacking in for 4 days in March for bear

I killed a buck in January also. I checked the carcass 8 days later about a 1/3 of the spine and some scattered fur was all I could find. Out hiking last weekend I found a few marker ribbons. I followed them for a while because they were going in the direction I was going any way. They ended at a rear leg of a mule deer buck. From the knee down still had fur that looked near perfect. There was also a wad of hide Fairly stiff. It all looked old but as if no scavenger had found it.

For what it's worth a stove pipe would be very easy for the new owner to come by. I just came back from another 3 nights in my frame tent. I love frame tent camp much more than the travel trailer I had

A throw net will go as deep as you have rope connected to it. You don't sight them first you just throw it blind. Yes blue gill and carp. http://www.catfishedge.com/how-to-throw-cast-net/

I've done pretty good at Bartlet over the years. I catch all my bait with a throw net. I start looking for bait around the south ramp. If I need more I throw my net again near sb cove ramp. Then I head up the flats. This time of year till fall the flat heads are trolling the shallows looking for bat fish. I fish with large slip bobbers any where from 10-20 feet below to surface. Or less if its shallow. Just enough to keep my bait off the bottom. I use the cat fish stalker bobbers http://www.premierplasticsinc.com/bobbers/stalkers/catfish.php the 5oz will keep a 1lb carp from pulling it under. The key is big alive bait. My biggest was a 32lbs flatheads . I caught him on a 1lb carp in 8ft of water about 3 ft under a 5oz catfish stalker bobber.

You guys are putting the javelina on a pedestal. They are where they are just like every thing else. Get high and glass. A good deer spot is not necessarily a good javelina spot. Referring the them as pigs is seven years bad luck.
-
I skin them while hanging them from there hind legs. Then I take the front quarters then the backstrap a then the hind quarters. Then your done. No need to gut a javelina or any 4 legged critter.
