Lockable target turrets with a sweet zero stop. They pop up for adjustment then pop down to lock.

I know. A small utility trailer makes tons of sense over a tow-behind for me. Tent rides in the same spot as the rest of camp. I have a shell, so dry travel for whatever needs it. i ditched the camper a few years ago. Then I ditched the 1 ton. Now my 1/2ton with up to 5 people my ranger on a small utility Trailer with 10days of gear can go any where any season in any weather.

I have the hd5 5-25x50 I like it a lot. It's very clear and repeatable.

It took me a long time to final jump in to a frame tent and to be honest I'm disappointed I waited so long.

I would not let 5lbs Stand in the way. I have this bow. it's faster and considerably more forgiving that my 70lbs rpm360 shooting the same arrow

I don't mean for this to be a knock on either product. I believe these two are the best products avalible but when used together I have experienced an issue. That said ... Has any one experienced an issue using Swarovski el's and the outdoorsman micro pan head? The issue I have run into is the mounting stud is so far forward that when mounted they become very back heavy and want to fall backwards. I never noticed with a larger fluid head. I believe I have a fix but I was wondering if any one else has experienced This
-
no I did not. They are off balanced. The only fix is to off set the weight.

Blue grouse hunting in AZ
oz31p replied to nw07heavy's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Theres a big write up in the July/August Arizona wildlife views about Arizona blue grouse -
There's a few on eBay

thats great news. Give may call when you get a chance. This unit is no exception. I hunt javelina during the archery season exclusively here. On Jan 1 there was bucks pushing does no reason to think they weren't a few days or even a week prior. Buck seem to come out of the wood work in the unit in late December. I bet this is awesome hunt.

I work with a back woods Genius type of a guy. He can and does make every thing. That's where I got the idea.

Google diy spine tester. It's a very easy project

3 years ago I drew a 20c ham tag . I was going archery deer hunting in 33 in January so I when to azgf to get a leftover javelina tag for 33 archery they would not sell it to me be cause I had already drew a tag and you can't have multiple tags. Granted this was before the 2 a year javelina rule change but I think it would still be the same
-
I'm sure there are. I've seen one near long lake
-
The giant on 260 has fill water and a rv dump.
-
You guys are crazy. 20c has plenty of deer and access. Especially on a left over tag vs sitting at home.

I was ready to pick up this but then they stopped making them. http://borahgear.com/borahgami.html The snowy side bivy is a 4 season bivy. I used it alone with out a tarp when there no weather forecasted but I've found its nice to have the "home feeling" a tarp gives even thou I realize the feeling is subconscious because besides for weather, a tarp provides zero actual protection
-
ive been eyeballing his alpine basin. I'd like to add a stove for some of my colder backpack hunts.
-
I've been using a borah snowy side and bug bivy and tarp for a while now. I like it.

Every self respecting hunter should own these two items

oz31p replied to Big Browns's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
We should have done a pool to see who was the first to beg for help.!!!! Deer are pretty thick down there. It's a great hunt -
really? mine get dusty or some times water spots on them often when i have them out Yes really. If you try to clean them In the field your liking just grinding dust and dirt into the lens. Unless it's strait mud alittle dust and dirt does not affect there perfomance. I also keep them covered when they are not in use. I can't imagine what your doing to get mud on the lens of a set of optics. Who takes $1000's of optics into the field with out lens some type of lens covers? Water spot also don't affect their perfomance either. If mine get dirty in the field and their perfomance is not affected why risk scratching them till I can properly flush them at home.
-
I very seldom clean mine, almost never in the field. An ounce of prevention....... It take a ton of crap to affect them. At home I have a camera cleaning kit with fluid spray and lint free lens paper.
