I think Lark probably even saved money on his surgery by refusing anesthesia!!! If you heard a pop in your shoulder while lifting, there is an even chance that you tore a labrum, that only requires an arthroscopy, if it is the rotator cuff, you may or may not be able to hunt, depends on your ability to draw with that shoulder. They both can wait until after your hunt(if you can). Good luck, Ag

There is a new javelina archery hunting video out that I watched this morning, it is awesome, has several kill shots, a few charges, shows some kids get their first archery pig(one even gets charged and catches a little piggy poo right on his nose!) also shows some called in on predator calls as well. It is made by John Trewern here in Silver City NM. It is called All Charged Up. Pretty fun to watch. Some awesome pig country. AG

Over in the Great State of NM run by famous Gov. Bill(I have an ugly wife)Richardson, 3 hunting buddies and I put in for bull elk on the same application and only 3 of us were drawn, the 3rd applicant was unsuccessful. Explain that one, the NMDGF cant. They said it must have been an issue with his credit card but it was successfully hit.

Well if you are shooting that , you may as well just stay home, you cant hit anything with those anyway, maybe you should just take a camera and go to the Kaibab anyway, at least then you would get some cool pics ag

The worst hunting show, bar none, is the guy that acts like he is teaching a university class and the "students" all ask questions etc, there is girl with a wig and she looks exactly like Hillary Clinton!!! When I am between surgeries on Wed. it comes on, I try to make sure I have a longer surgery so I dont have to watch it while I wait for my next one to start. It is horrible!! As far as endorsements, well which one of us would turn down the opportunity to endorse a good product? get paid to hunt, i would do it in a heartbeat!!! Hmm, I have never had issues with sabots. Loaded with buckhorn 209 120 gr and federal 209 primers. TMZ spitfires(have to switch to EZ since the tolerances on the omegas are to close and was hard to load the sabots. ) But accurate as heck out to 250 with leupold muzzleloader scope. I have never had any issues and as a matter of preference would not use round balls. If you have the means to shoot the new stuff do it. However I also respect those who like to shoot round balls, just not my cup of tea. Oh and I also shoot a TC Omega and love it!! Good luck I have seen some nice bulls in that unit should be a good hunt. AG

That makes NO sense at all. All guns have "custom" serial numbers. They are whatever the manufacturer decides is needed. MANY guns have the same serial numbers- they are NOT issued by the govt. I can't imagine what you mean by "they couldn't find his gun" and "it came up as a 12 Ga shotgun". Who couldn't find his gun? Anyway don't worry about the serial number- there will be a place for it on the gun permit. I never had them look at my caliber stamp. Also. you can't take anything bigger that a "300 magnum" into Mexico unless they have changed their laws recently. I can't imagine why would would not have a caliber stamp on the gun somewhere? If it is not stamped- you can always take it to someone who has a pantograph or laser and have something put on it. Well buddy sorry to disappoint you, but if you have ever been to Mexico and checked your gun in US customs LIKE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO they check your serial number, caliber, model etc,. US CUSTOMS checked his serial number and it was one his gunsmith had used and it was coming up as a shotgun. The other thing is the serial number may match on a gun, but it also depends on the brand of gun it is. SO hopefully I have imparted some SENSE to you.

It would be a good idea as they check caliber, brand and serial number, it will be much easier on you if you get it done. Oh and make sure your gunsmith doesnt just give it a custom serial number, my buddy had that done and they could not find his gun, the serial number was coming up as a remington 12 ga. shotgun!!!

The blackhorn 209 is awesome, tight groups and easy to clean!! 9 shots before I had to run a patch and I only did that as I was using TMZ bullets which are to close to the diameter of my gun barrel and I was afraid I would break my ram rod and skewer my hand. It cleans so easy you will never shoot any other powder(no ring in the barrel like with other powders) You HAVE to use good 209 primers with it though.

I dont think this bill has anything to do with increased border patrols, that is a federal issue and Az cant mandate they patrol more. AZ has been trying to get more federal help for years and if falls on deaf ears. This bill however, does allow the police to not have their hands tied. If they pull over a vehicle with multiple people in it , they can check them all for id and green cards if they want and then do something about it if they dont have it. Will it increase racial profiling? good question, but there already is a certain extent of that going on, there has to be. How many of us have driven by a light in Mesa and there is a line of guys looking for work for the day who are surprise, Mexican. Most of us just think look at all those illegals, but some have their green card and are here legally. The thing that boggles my mind is that in CRIMINALIZES ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, why are people so upset, it is called ILLEGAL for a reason, get away from the whole undocumented worker crap, they are illegal pure and simple. I have absolutely no trouble with people who come here legally(my dad is the proud carrier of a green card and has been for almost 40 years!) The press surprise surprise only has really interviewed those who are against it. For crying out loud, groups from California were bussing people in to protest it!! The news was wondering why there were so few that were there who supported it, well that is because they were all WORKING!!!!!!! It was the middle of the day on Friday what were they thinking. I want to know why there so many high school students there!!?? dont they have school or something! And what a surprise that the Obamamoron would be opposed to it. I think AZ did what it needed to and I only hope that CA and NM will do it as well.
