Wasted My Late Dec Tag For Archery Buck
slopoke36 replied to standman's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
He was barely quartering to me when I shot him so I knew i had to be in the shoulder a little. It went through the shoulder but missed all the bone and came out about 4" behind the off side shoulder. Brian Every nice! It's my first year bow hunting so I was wondering how the arrow holds up hitting the shoulder. -
Nice

Wasted My Late Dec Tag For Archery Buck

Nice buck for sure and what a shot! Did the arrow pass through both shoulder blades? If so, I would like to know your set up. Good story too. -
My daughter Lindsey Rylee was born on the 23rd of Aug at 12:50pm. Can't wait to show her the great outdoors!

I know you can eat predators. But should you? My buddy said bobcat is good and I have an issue with that statement.

There seems to be a negative “theme” going to the hunting the community as of late. I would like to point out the fact that hunting is about the memories you create and share with friends and family. We seem to be getting caught up in the turf wars, whose tree stand was there first and wait that is my trail camera! My ol’man use to tell me that it is about the experience and not about “sacking’em up”. It is nice to get a deer, elk or whatever. But, was it a waste of time if we don’t? Times have changed and there will always be knuckleheads and bad apples but don’t let it get the best of you. Good hunters adapt to their game and sometimes that means changing where we hunt and maybe how we hunt because of other people not just game. I hate to see people getting discourage and even quit hunting over silly stuff. It is up to us to set the example and be good sportsman. Lets talk about good stuff like tomorrow!
