This is why I asked the question. I have the right to hunt right now! So, why do we need a law to say we can still hunt? I understand that this is a "just in case" law, but does that make this thing right? It is like the law makers are forcing my hand. I don't like this.

Also this is why we were taught (hunter saftey) to unload guns back to back and into the ground.

My buddy just got a 300 win mag SPS and I couldn't believe the hinge plate release button was inside the trigger well. Somebody is asking to get shot with that set up. I have an old .270 ADL and thing is awesome, I was also in the military and around the 700's they use and I thought they were fine and never heard of them doing stuff like you guys are saying. Also, remember in the military they have armorers and who knows what they did to the weapon.

If I was shooting a .300 win mag, I would shoot a 165 gr Nosler Partition. If you re-load might look into slowing the bullet down a little bit as well. 180 gr is far to big for these whitetail. That 165 will also do an elk under as well.

I am shooting a 70# 28 inch draw single cam bow and I am wondering if my 300 Radial x weave and 100gr broadheads are to lite for my bow? Any help would be great.

I have to disagree with your orange comment. Wearing orange during a rifle hunt is definitely not stupid. The more hunters wearing orange the better. +100

Going to Show Low this weekend to hunt some ducks. I mostly hunt pintail lake, does anyone know of a good area other than pintail that they would like to share? Also, has anyone ever been to bog hole near parker canyon lake? I would like to know what is going on there before I make a long drive for nothing.
