Donated a little. Those bastards take a big bite. We will do more later as needed. Hopefully some of the old Zoners will belly up and help out.
-
Larry- if April and the kids need help maybe one last fundraiser tournament like we did for the officers that were killed. That or a gofundme listing where we can donate. Nummie can barely walk now but we can show up for the cause and I can use him for an anchor.

He was a great guy and if someone was whining on the old site he would tell them to get back in the kitchen and shut the fork up. That site was brutal when we were younger. We had a blast when we did the tourneys around town. Always late and always drinking a Pepsi. He was a great Dad. Gonna miss you buddy.

Best Salmon Fishing in the Lower 48 (or Vancouver)?
Ringer replied to rossislider's topic in Fishing
Lived in Portland and Seattle and have spent some time in Vancouver. Portland salmon run in those months but the best fishing is close to downtown. The coast gets really good in August. Beautiful coastline and forests but the city is no longer a place I would go. Seattle is not very good for salmon IMO and the city is the same as Portland. Homeless and crime issues now. Vancouver is one of the really beautiful cities with lots to do and good museums. Fishing will be good there. I would go there. Great restaurants and nice people. -
Just traded my Tundra. Had the M1 bumpers and I still have the OEM front bumper if anyone needs one.
-
Just bought a used GMC 3500HD with a Duramax. I want to add a tank that sits below the rails. Anyone done this and where did you have it installed?
-
Thanks Mark, I will call Cliff's. I too have a short bed and will have a 5th wheel hitch. I have seen the tanks work on them as long as they aren't too deep.
-
So they are both hooked directly to the trucks tank? I have seen ones with the 12v pumps and nozzle which might be easier but they are not cheap.

Nummie had his cat stolen at his house a few years ago. I gave him some big treble hooks from my salmon box and he wired them all over the new cat with bailing wire. Might be an issue at a store parking lot with a dirtball screaming under the truck.

Any recommendation for taking a few small dings out of my Tundra? I might sell it and 2 small dings are all that's wrong with it. Thanks.

I have a brand new in box S&W 586 with 4" barrel I bought a year ago. I doubt I will ever use it. Too pretty. I would have to get $950 with one new box of Federal Premium .357 JHP. Never fired or even handled.

I hate people that run to lawyers and threaten lawsuits. They are worse than a bunch of whiney guides. Just what percent of Arizona "sportsmen and women" do you think you represent? More like representing a few hundred guides and outfitters that make a living from selling animals owned by the public. Reminds me of the a$$holes fro USO and old Don or whatever his name was. Hope your "massive" group loses and it costs a bunch for "DEWY, CHEATEM and HOW".

Why wouldn't you shoot a drone down if it was close enough to hit with a 12GA? I have had them close enough to hit at my house but not legal to shoot a gun there. In the woods all bets are off.

I bought it new and very little use. Just had it tuned up at A to Z rentals for $100. If you do much landscaping this is a great tool. Getting too old to lift it up much. $250. 480-620-2853 is my cell if you want photos.

My daughter just moved to Gilbert after 15 years in Payson. Her lot is around a half acre with trees on 208 S. Bentley. Need to have the floors finished and new counter tops but the bones are good. Definitely a fixer upper but should go for a reasonable price. They will be listing it soon.

My buddies from Oregon bought a 30 year old fifth wheel at Lazy JR and I spent 4 grand fixing it up then they sold it. Nice trees and I put in a brick paver patio and redid the entire inside. Assholes never gave me a nickel.
-
Mark- are you guys living in a fifth wheel? My wife has pancreatic cancer and I am thinking hard about living in one at Lazy JR if she passes. Should be enough room for one cranky old man.

I looked at the ad you linked and I read MS261 not 361 on the saw.

I have one in my shed that has had very little use. I had it tuned up at AtoZ and haven't started it for the last 3 years cause I haven't had a dang elk tag since then. I know it has a 20" bar and a new chain on it.

You know if they are banned that people will carry a hammer and smash the crap out of the birdwatcher's cameras.

I managed 100 people at 30 years old and 156 when I left the corporate life at 52. I now own a small biz. If the first guy gets to work at 6AM i have always been there at 5. Let them know they are more important than you are. They are. Mine know they will get paid even if I don't. You will always have an butt kisser that bugs the heck out of you. Treat him like your dog and rub his head every day. You will also have a lazy sack of shoot too so figure it out and get him to resign. He will poison the well. Your people will know if you are a stand up man and will walk through a wall to take care of them. They will also take care of you. You will do fine. I have also taken many fishing trips to Alaska and Mexico and included some of my key managers. Some are now my best friends. At 71 I have seen it all but there are some real freaks coming up so never know. Good luck.

Got my oil changed in my Tundra today at Right Toyota. I have a 100k Toyota warranty so always have them do it. 72000 miles. I drive back 15 minutes to my shop and hear a slight whirring sound. Get in it to go home and look at the oil guage and it is on zero. Check the oil and not one drop of oil. They say they will stand behind it if anything goes wrong. Had a lot lizard drive over and fill it with oil. How would you handle that. I wonder how much internal damage could have happened running it 3-4 miles dry.

Hang in there old man. We found out a month ago that my wife of 52 years has pancreatic cancer so going through similar situation. At 71 I know so many people with cancer and other serious issues it is shocking. Getting old ain't for sissies. Hope they figure out your issues and fix you up.
