I have several rods and reels. Couple of Penn gold trollers and a couple of lighter Shimano rods and reels we have caught marlin on in the Cabo area. I live in Fountain Hills and get home around noon if you want to take a look. Haven't used the gear for many years so might need to dig it out. Just looked and I have two great Shimano Triton 7' rods for 30-80 pounds, one Penn custom 7' rod 12#-30# and a Penn Saber 7' trolling rod that is 40# to 100#. I have a Penn International 30W and somewhere I have a Penn International 50 and two shimano reels for the shimano rods that match up perfectly. Anyway my wife has pancreatic cancer and I am old so doubt I will get down to Cabo again.

I did a bear hunt in Idaho with a guide who was also hired by G&F to cull a lion. He said the one cat had killed 17 grown elk in a few weeks and every one just had a few chunks eaten. Not true that they all just kill what they need to eat.

I put the Tru-glo sights on both my shotguns for turkey and never missed a kill. They just snap on the rib and are bright and easy to see in low light.

Best trip out of 28 to Alaska was the Nushagak. 121 kings in one day for four of us. Last year the Nush let the commercial start 3 days early and only 20 for 3 of us in 3 days. Next year we are doing Sitka for 6 days. I leave for Oregon 9/1 for a few days of chinook fishing with old friends. I love Sitka for the beauty and it is a great fishery for kings, halibut and huge ling cod so looking forward to that one. At 72 I need to cram in every salmon trip I can before the reaper comes for me. Glad you had a great trip.
