6 points and no tag again. I will be too old and broke down by the time I get drawn. Won't be able to pull the bow.

Buddies are fishing every day for the last two weeks. i fished with them last week and caught 14. Senkos in very shallow water in the backs of coves where you find sticks. Boat was in 4-5 feet of water and casted in to the flats.

You can use a UTC stain in the epoxy. Get the lamp black color or they have many shades of browns. We buy it for the shop at Frazeee on Cave creek Road. You can buy two part epoxy for cheap on ebay.

Anyone...how to clean off car wax from black plastic?
Ringer replied to Chris's topic in The Campfire
Naptha is what we use here at the shop to remove furniture wax. -
Dr. Brian Shafer at AZ Bone and Joint did both of my shoulders and he is good.

I fell on a wet boat ramp at lake Pleasant a few years ago and it tore the labrum off of my shoulder. If it is a tear they can heal up, if it is torn off you can't lift the arm at all. Good luck healing.

Dan- post this on www.azbasszone.com and you will hit a lot of local fishermen and women. We have raised big money for the families of fallen officers so I know they have a heart. Good luck on your tourney.

So, do you eat the bear(s) you kill???
Ringer replied to Lv2hnt's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
I have eaten it and it was good. I was dragging my butt on the neighbor's carpet at a party afterwards though. -
Agree with that. If you pull a trailer full of cattle or machinery then yes you will need a diesel. If you pull a bass boat or small rv there is no way I can justify paying more for diesel. If you like to hunt then make sure you put additive in the tank before you go because the diesel will be very hard to start when you wake up in the snow. It all depends on what you are using your truck for.

My 2204 F250 with the 6.0 cost me $14200 in one year and it all started at 140000 miles then it blew the headgaskets again at 160000. I have a Tundra with a 5.7 liter engine and it hauls the boat and trailers about as good as the diesel. Diesel is more expensive on fuel and the half tons are a lot less than buying a new diesel. Off road the F250 was a dog.

I bought the wrong Bilstiens for my Tundra. They adjust up to a 2.5" lift and the fronts had a 3" lift. If anyone needs two brand new Bilstein 24-232-173 I will sell or trade them for $60 for two. Been sitting here for three months. 480-998-8977

You can have that. I hunted bear in Idaho a few years and 40 pounds ago and couldn't walk for a week I was so sore. Those guys are as tough as it comes and in great shape to chase the dogs. Congrats on your cat. They are very tasty eating.

If they fly within shotgun range you can shoot them. I think tags are sold at WalMart for $13 a year.

You can hunt on any federal mining claim. They just hold mineral rights to mine and no other rights. If it is private land then they can run you off or shoot you but the white stakes for claims don't mean a thing regarding trespass or any other use of the land. Go for it.

Roosevelt Lake - Roundtable Meeting Minutes 12/18/14
Ringer replied to CouesPursuit's topic in Fishing
Thanks! I have a trailer in TB and fish Roosevelt and Apache. I am hoping we can get some water in the lake this spring. That will do wonders for the fishery. It is good to see the gizzard shad are running out of food. Maybe the smaller size will make them better bass food. If the Florida strains take hold we could see a reversal in the future of the fishery. Let us know if G&F will do another volunteer habitat work project so we can get the word out. I worked on Apache and Canyon last time and that work is paying off IMO. -
Francisco was a citizen but I can tell you most immigrants view poaching different from us. I have Romanians here that have been here for 30 years and they tell me about their relatives going to Woods Canyon and catching 20 trout each then coming home. I tell them it is illegal and the fines are high so I try to scare them but who knows if they listen.

I had a legal alien working in my shop 6 years ago that got caught poaching deer with a bunch of his not so legal buddies. He had to go to court on a charge after they were caught. He said it is just food and in Mexico they could kill whatever they wanted. I fired him.

Bought struts and shocks for my Tundra but the lift was too high for the adjustable struts on the fronts. Paid $101 each. Sell for $60 each. Number is 24-232-173 and they adjust to a 2.5" lift. Mine was a 3" lift but I bought the truck used and wasn't sure. 480-620-2853.

EGR cooler dumped on my 6.o at 25000 miles on the way back from 12AW. White smoke and it eventually died and would not run at all. After that at 105000 the headgaskets blew so I had Strictly diesel bulletproof it for $9000. a year later the headgaskets blew up again and they wanted $10000 more. I dumped it for $7000. I had a Bulletproof cooler, ARP studs and the whole works. In betweeen had a fuel pump, oil cooler and a few other problems for $4000. Just a lousy engine and no guarantees if you pay to bulletproof it.

To the Administration
Ringer replied to Snapshot's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Randy at HuntTalk just did the same thing. IMO what do hunters BS about around the camp fire? Old hunt stories and politics. There seem to always be 2-3 paid political bloggers that infiltrate every site and troll all day and night. Once you figure that out we can have some pretty interesting discussions. How many threads are political and have anything to do with hunting? maybe a few each year? I think you can do whatever turns your crank but it will eventually lose a lot of readers here. Do like The Texas Fishing Forum and have moderators give access to the political forum so all the people who are offended never see any of the posts? -
I took a 38' boat out of Juneau a few years ago with a local buddy. We spent 7 days cruising toward Sitka. He has a floating cabin in a cove near Hoonah. We trapped crab, shrimp and dug five gallons of clams in a half hour plus salmon and halibut. Great trip and saw brown bear in the cove and plenty of other critters. We were the first people to take the 1 mile zip slide in Hoonah because he owned a hardware store that sold to the owners. That thing went 60mph so one minute ride and a blast. I have seen a lot of deer in Sitka swimming across over the years. Great deer and looks like a blast.

I was up at Tonto Basin last weekend also and the Hook packs lunches for the firefighters. They said it was lightning and that rain saturday was a drencher so good deal.

A big part of the problem is the law that says a hospital cannot refuse to treat a patient. I bought my business 13 years ago and was told all employees were legal and had I-9 in the files. I found out two were illegal and got rid of them a year later. One went back to Mexico but he and his wife had $80000 in surgery/hospital costs in one year and all free. Someone else had to pay for that. We never really see the actual costs of that sort of care and it is mind blowing.
