5guys, those look good. It's possible to do it yourself if you have the space and time. Most people don't have one or the other, so they pay someone else to do it. But you can definetly do it yourself. Don't boil it too hot or you will crack the skull

I had a buddy from work do the same thing on a good javelina spot I took him to on year for his first archery pig. The following year he was there with five of his buddies. I don't hunt with him anymore

As far as optics, I think it depends on the caliber of buck you are looking for. If any buck will do, keep it basic with binos and tripod. If you are looking for a specific size buck, bring the scope or bigger glass.

I was told by AZGFD Main Office that if the tag had been awarded through the draw, you must buy the duplicate tag from one of their Branch Offices.
