Legal to carry pistol during Archery only Hunts

I called the G&F office. The laws have not changed. They have just stopped enforcing it because they don't want to fight any law suits. Don't believe everything you read, just because it is printed does not make it legal. Be cautious as this may flip-flop if hunters start shooting each other over tree stands. -
The Swarovski bino's are the best. The only people who recomend something less are people who can't afford them. Stay away from the spotting scopes. You don't need them unless you are trying to score a trophy on the hoof. The spotting scopes are also more tiring to your eyes because you are only using one eye. Also a "must" is a large brim straw hat to shade your eyes and neck from the sun. JMHO - no offence meant to you guys who can't afford the Swarovski's.

I am happy with my Hoyt. I have shot the BowTec Alegiance and if I were to purchase another bow that would be high on my list. I ran into the PSE factory Rep. a few weeks ago and he let me shoot one of the new bows comming out. It looked like the MOJO but was smaller. That was one sweet bow that I would also have to consider if I was on the market for a new one. As far as arrows, I am still happy with the Easton ACC's.

Geeeezzzzz, Lighten up, it was just a joke. My first antelope was high in the record books. My second was also in the book, but much lower. My third did not make the book. Every time I get drawn, I hope to get a bigger one but that does not dimminish the first one. It's not destiny or that the hunt is ruined, it's just natural human expectations and behavior. That's what keeps us out there and trying every year. It's the thrill of the sport wether it be hitting a baseball or finding gold. One always hopes to hit more home runs or find more gold than in the previous year. It's the competative nature that resides in most of us. I am really satisfied yust to be out in the field, but it's fun to strive for the biggest. There it a temporary moment of failure and ruined expecations but it is soon replaced by a smile and the satisfaction that I did the best I could. Don't be offended DotShot, it was just alittle humor. lol

I purchased this Kimber rifle and scope to go Antelope hunting but did not get drawn. Now I can use the money elsewhere so the rifle has to go. It has a VariXIII 4.5-14X40 Scope. The scope has the Boone & Crockett Big Game reticle. I had it bore sighted but have not taken it out to shoot yet. The total package is: 1 Model 84M Classic, (with original box). 1 Sling 2 boxes ammo $1,000.00 to Arizona residents only.

The sale will be on hold for a few days, Wed or Thursday. I am holding it for someone to look at. I'll reopen if he does not purchase it.

I am having trouble mounting scopes. After I finish with one others tell me that the crosshairs are not level. They look level to me, am I missing something obvious or is every shooter different?

Hi Treestandman, I have 5 handguns, a Taurus semi auto - 9mm, a Ruger Superedhawk revolver - 44Mag, a Taurus 7 shot revolver - 357 Mag, a Glock 45 semi auto and a Kimber 45 semi auto. I prefer to cary the 357 Mag when out scouting or prospecting. I will ocasionally take one of the others, just so I can justify having them but the two revolvers are the most accurate. If I am hunting I load them with Magnums otherwise for target or self defense I use 38 special or 44 special. I think S&W's are overpriced. I think the Ruger is well made and has excellent customer suport. I like my Taurus Tracker revolver because it is titanium and very light to cary. If I were you, I would take up Arizona Guide's offer to shop with you. GOO LUCK!
